3d printing 

 Chuck Hull (Charles W. Hull; born May 12, 1939) is the co-founder, executive vice president and chief technology officer of 3D Systems. He is the inventor of the solid imaging process known as stereolithography (3D Printing), the first commercial rapid prototyping technology, and the STL file format. He is named on more than 60 U.S. patents as well as other patents around the world in the fields of ion optics and rapid prototyping. He was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2014.  

What is a 3D printer? 

 3D printers are a new generation of machines that can make everyday things. They’re remarkable because they can produce different kinds of objects, in different materials, all from the same machine. A 3D printer can make pretty much anything from ceramic cups to plastic toys, metal machine parts, stoneware vases, fancy chocolate cakes or even (one day soon) human body parts. They replace traditional factory production lines with a single machine, just like home inkjet printers replaced bottles of ink, a printing press, hot metal type and a drying rack. 

 Why is it called printing?

 If you look closely (with a microscope) at a page of text from your home printer, you’ll see the letters don’t just stain the paper, they’re actually sitting slightly on top of the surface of the page. In theory, if you printed over that same page a few thousand times, eventually the ink would build up enough layers on top of each other to create a solid 3D model of each letter. That idea of building a physical form out of tiny layers is how the first 3D printers worked.

 How do 3D printers work?

 You start by designing a 3D object on an ordinary home PC, connect it to a 3D printer, press ‘print’ and then sit back and watch. The process is a bit like making a loaf of sliced bread, but in reverse. Imagine baking each individual slice of bread and then gluing them together into a whole loaf (as opposed to making a whole loaf and then slicing it, like a baker does). That’s basically what a 3D printer does. The 3D printing process turns a whole object into thousands of tiny little slices, then makes it from the bottom-up, slice by slice. Those tiny layers stick together to form a solid object. Each layer can be very complex, meaning 3D printers can create moving parts like hinges and wheels as part of the same object. You could print a whole bike - handlebars, saddle, frame, wheels, brakes, pedals and chain - ready assembled, without using any tools. It’s just a question of leaving gaps in the right places. 

  What are the opportunities? 

 Have you ever broken something, only to find it’s no longer sold and you can’t replace it? 3D printing means you can simply print a new one. That world, where you can make almost anything at home, is very different from the one we live in today. It’s a world that doesn’t need lorries to deliver goods or warehouses to store them in, where nothing is ever out of stock and where there is less waste, packaging and pollution. It’s also a world where everyday items are made to measure, to your requirements. That means furniture made to fit your home, shoes made to fit your feet, door handles made to fit your hand, meals printed to your tastes at the touch of a button. Even medicines, bones, organs and skin made to treat your injuries. You can get some of those things now if you’re wealthy, but 3D printing brings affordable, bespoke manufacturing to the masses. If that sounds like pure fantasy, try googling “personalised 3D printed products” and see for yourself. After all, the notion of doing your supermarket shopping on an iPad was like something out of Star Trek 20 years ago.

 What are the limitations?

 Although buying a 3D printer is much cheaper than setting up a factory, the cost per item you produce is higher, so the economics of 3D printing don’t stack-up against traditional mass production yet. It also can’t match the smooth finish of industrial machines, nor offer the variety of materials or range of sizes available through industrial processes. But, like so many household technologies, the prices will come down and 3D printer capabilities will improve over time.

 Is it the next big thing? 

 Yes, if you’re a product designer or engineer, but for most people, no. Like all new technologies, the industry hype is a few years ahead of the consumer reality. It’s an emerging technology which means, like home computers or mobile phones, most people will remain sceptical about needing one until everyone has got one… and then we’ll all wonder how we ever managed without them.

 Affordability – 

The initial cost for setting up a 3d printing facility is definitely high; however, it is much cheaper compared to labor costs and manufacturing costs while using the conventional way. Adding to it, is the fact that the cost of producing or manufacturing products using 3d printing technology is equal for small-scale and mass manufacturing.

Storage –

 Traditional manufacturing produces additional products that you probably know you will eventually need thus storage problems arise. However, 3d printing technology, products can be “printed” when needed thus excess products are eliminated and no storage cost is required.

 Employment Opportunities –

 The widespread use of 3d printing technology will definitely increase the demand for engineers who are needed to design and build these printers. Technicians who are skilled at troubleshooting and maintenance and Designers to design blueprints for products and more jobs will be created. 

 Health Care – 

With the advancement of technology, a customizable human body parts and organs can now be manufactured this technology is termed as Bioprinting. Although right now this is still experimental, the potential is huge. This breakthrough will not only address the shortage of organ donors, but also organ rejection since the organs that are built will consist of the patient’s unique characters and DNA.

Disadvantages 

 Decrease in Manufacturing Jobs – 

The decrease in manufacturing jobs will greatly affect the economy of countries that rely on a large number of low skill jobs.

 Limited Size – 

The size of objects created with 3d printers is currently limited however, in the near future; large items such as architectural structures can be created using 3d printing.

 Limited Raw Materials – 

Traditional manufacturing of products has an enormous range of raw materials that can be used. Presently 3d printers can work up to approximately 100 different raw materials and creating products that uses more raw materials are still under development. 

 Violation of Copyrights –

 The biggest disadvantage of 3d printing is Counterfeiting. Anyone who gets a hold of a blueprint will be able to counterfeit products easily. It will become more common and tracing the source of the counterfeited items will be nearly impossible. Many copyright holders will have a hard time protecting their rights and businesses producing unique products will suffer.

 Production of Dangerous Items –

 With 3d printers, plastic knives, guns and any other hazardous objects can be created. It makes easier for terrorists and criminals bring a weapon without being detected.

this is one of emerging technologies that i want to share to us because in simple printers have become much better because of the different things they can do, such as home appliances or damaged items that are not replaced will have the chance to do something again but to change and improve every technology we have. We should be responsible for it and we need to learn to have the limit.. and to look at technology like 3D-PRINTER because of it  easy to find a donor of body parts because of this technology and also save time and spend time to our family . for new  technologies we can learn To appreciate it because it will become part of our lives. And we will have to decide or depend on how good or bad we are to use it

Wunderlist The developer of this app is 6 wonderkinder Gmbh When im down load this up the version is 3.4.5 i download this app in android ios because the ios of this app is 8.0 but my phone is 9.3.5 and first i download the carrot app but it was not free this wunder list is free and so beautiful to use. Wunderlist is a app that make you remind and list your plan todo this app is you can use anywhere and help us to make easier all task that we need to do . Wunderlist have functionalty like you make your own list , you make your own acount like in facebook you have your own privacy , and there have a private or public if you want to share or not , reminders that always make you updated if you forgotten a thing ,folder that make you keep there your plan and schedule or name of ghe task that may you and you make easily to find where tha tasks belongs comments they have like in facebook they may said a thing to you or you may use the chat box to discuss or answer there questions , share list that you make share your plan today organize and share to fo works grocery , movies , big task that you may do is no matter how big or small task your palan need to do is make you easier because of wunder list and you cannot forget your duedates and also give a notification what you need to right now. While in the sounds its so ringing you may here the task or plan that you may do to it incredible have app like this Ilike in this app its like facebook because you may share want you want tag to your friends log in log out , comments and also in the backgroun ireally like because there have many choices to choose every day you wanted and no limitation to list you may list all the thing that you want to do. . I dont like the star in the right that if you click it turn red i think its more beautiful and perfect it there have color that you may choose not only red . And i dont like because there no have live camera like in facebook they have live that you may share where are you what place are you not like in wunderlist you may type not actually . The app that similar and related is the app ticktick TickTick is another app that works a lot like Wunderlist. The app brings in almost every major feature from Wunderlist, including things like support for lists, sharing lists with other TickTick users for collaboration, setting reminders for items, and even delegating tasks to specific members of a team. With TickTick you can also comment on the tasks, and attach notes and files to supplement the item on the to-do list. Also the app Todoist is another very well known to-do list app, and is definitely one of the apps you can consider using as a Wunderlist replacement. Similar to Wunderlist, Todoist is also free to download and use. The app does have a list feature, like Wunderlist, but it’s called “Projects” in Todoist. You can assign different to-dos and reminders to projects in order to properly classify and sort them. Also the app trello in this app you may see the feature that you may see also in wunderlist While Trello was intended as more of a project management application, it can easily serve as a very powerful to-do list and reminder app as well. The app brings in support for almost every feature offered by Wunderlist, including things like Lists, Sharing and Collaboration, Reminders (called “Due Date” in Trello). im a simple person and i dont know how to start but i will make it simple because I'm surprised that the intro is about the our self and I dont know how to start because im a mamas girl and i have 4 young brother and my father is im not totally close because he is not always in our house he always at word but i understand but we dont have bonding not totally dont have sometime we go out together im a wierd ilove books ilike novels horror tragedy because when i read book my mood is is so happy because i magines that im one of the character on that book i love to sing also when im scared because singing is my medicine to release the bad vibes and make me so comportable when i here song and i love watching scary movies and ilove spoken poetry because this is one thing that may i wrote my feeling my opinion of the this that i see or i experience and i dont like okra because it like yucky for me and im scared to ride in jeep and buss and always ware a boy look because im the only girl of the family i want a baby sister but God not give my mama a second girl all boys thats why i was so happy when i see baby girl and i always ware a earphone i love to wAtch anime i love to eat lots of sweet food and i dont like girly look and when my teacher discuss i was sleep but my ears is awake even i sleep my ears is lesson or when i read book my mind is on my teacher with my ears and i dont care of the thing that nonsence or not about school and grades im grade conscious some people said that im a rare person because when im angry i eat chocolates and im not violent person i calm person when im agry i didnt talk because i dont want to say anything because when isee wrong in one person i said it straightly because im straight to the point and straight forward person and im moody person and it's kind of somewhat in the world I do not want to Many friends because I do not want to leave so I prefer to be alone sometimes they say Youre not sad to be lonely sometimes I say I'm not sad but I'm not happy yet but this is the only thing make my self so comfortable to be alone because also here I can think of the past and in the past I've seen every person's behavior around me I know that badinfluence and good influence I know who is true and who is full of lies so I'm afraid to have a friend but you know in the past days it changed because I had friends Which proves that we need to have friends too and the truth is its make me so happy to have friend and went out to my comport zone full of arts but i love my self and that I was happy because There are people accept me me treat me like a sister and one thing i learn that be thankfull and be appriciated of the thing that came into your life even this is go fast or stay but the important you do your task better and not betterleaa and i dont care of the thing around if this is nonsense but if is about my friends i care that because that is my friend one thing i realize that always show the real you and dont keep who is real you because you lied to others you also lied to yourself
