All About Valorant Lore!
So, you may have heard about this new game called “Valorant”. If you really do not know anything about it, you must have been living under a rock! It is a 5v5 character-based multiplayer shooter game, fresh from gaming company Riot Games. Play with friends from all over the world, fighting to win together through methods of tactical play. With updated maps, this free-to-play game has new characters, anti-cheat, and new modes! In this blog post, I am going to touch on all these bases, recommending computers from a certain company called 3B Systems that specialise in making PCs crafted to run certain games (if you want that straight away, click this link.)
The first thing about Valorant I would like to discuss is the scrapped agents. There are three agents that were scrapped from Valorant: and their names were Joules, Shatter, and Crusader. Joules’ abilities became what is now Killjoy’s Lockdown, Jett’s Tailwind, and Sova’s Owl Drone. Crusader got a lot of updates and eventually became Breach.
Did you know that Killjoy changed gender during her development? Initially, during the development phase, Killjoy was actually intended to be male. At one point, Killjoy was also a robot! This changed during some part of the development, before becoming the agent we know so well today!
Omen changed faces between the beta phase and the official release! During the closed beta phase, Omen actually had sharp light blue eyes, instead of the vertical lines he currently he has on his face.
Before joining the Valorant protocol, Jett worked as a chef in a restaurant in Seoul! Viper, who was born named Sabine, used to be a physician. Phoenix was actually suspended from the school he went to because he set the building on fire.
Did you know that KAY/O is a robot from alternate reality meant to kill the Valorant Agents? His mission as a robot was to neutralise Radiants, so they wouldn’t be used as weapons. In his alternate Earth, KAY/O fought against Astra, Sage, and Skye and killed Reyna. He usually uses military-grade technology – such as KIA (killed in action) – or abbreviations using the NATO phonetic alphabet. The name KAY/O could come from one of his voice lines which says, “Kill All Your Opponents”.
Killjoy is a creative inventor, who actually designed Brimstone’s bracer! She has also invented all of the tools in her kit: a sentry bot, an alarm bot, swarm grenades, and a Lockdown device. While this feature is not available in-game for gameplay reasons, the sentry bot can run around freely.
Killjoy also invented the spike, even if it does feature Kingdom’s logo. A mirrored version of Killjoy created the spike to attack an alternate version of Earth. It features the “K” logo of Kingdom, a powerful organisation in Valorant which uses the power of radianite to produce 75% of the world’s energy.

Flight Simulator 2022 – Is It worth the cost?
Microsoft’s own “Flying Simulator 2022” is a well-renowned game for its endless possibilities and phenomenal graphics; the graphics in which has never been achieved before by a gaming simulator. It has been said that this game is perfect for people of all ages – and professions! Breaking the limits of what a flying simulator is supposed to be, it is not just limited to student pilots but is also accessible to the general public who just want to explore the world from a bird's-eye-view, right at home!
The game has a wide roster of different aircraft to give you a different experience with each one. I personally have actually flown one of the aircraft in the game – the Cessna 172! The game gives you the options of how you would like to view your flight – from 1st or 3rd person. For the most immersion, I would choose 1st person; and that I did during my play-through. The 1st person view from within the cockpit of the Cessna 172 borderline matches in comparison, not only from view but how the plane moves in reaction to the wind surrounding it, which is an excellent detail picked up and utilised by the game developers.
The game also has the option for multiplayer, which means you can fly around with friends exploring the world from a birds-eye-view, which only boosts the immersion experience further once your friends get involved! Witness many popular airports such as Heathrow, JFK and more…
Something that people found that was a common issue for the game was the update frequency and update times which is said to be an annoying aspect of the game. As you would presume, such an awe-inspiring game would be an initial big download due to how intricate it is, however, they frequently update their software meaning that players found themselves spending more time downloading updates than actually playing the game. Not only this, but due to the download of the game logging as playing hours on Steam, you pass the two hour refund threshold if you do not really like the game. This can be an issue for someone as the cheapest version on Steam is currently £59.99! It is a very pricey loss if you end up not wanting to play the game.
This game is a massive game, with a lot of recommended space needed to actually run it. I bought my PC from a company called 3B Systems, who make computers that are made specifically with games in mind – so I bought one of their Flight Simulator tailored PC’s, and it runs perfectly!
In my personal opinion, this game is absolutely worth the cost. The sheer sights you get to see are amazing, combined with getting educated on how planes are actually run, this game is like no other. As long as you can stomach the initial download and updates you are going to have an amazing experience in the skies (from your home!).

Fortnite and its Battle Modes

As we all know, Fortnite is famous for revolutionising the drop-in battle royale style game. With their recognisable cartoon aesthetic, to their playing styles only made more popular due to streamer influence, this game is definitely one of the most notable in recent history. Let’s talk about the different modes you can choose in Fortnite to tailor your gaming experience to how you want to play.
Battle Royale
First, let’s touch on the standard battle mode of Fortnite: Battle Royale. This is a player-vs-player mode where 100 players are driven in the sky over the map in a battle bus and they can decide where they would like to drop. Players have the capacity to choose if they want to play with teams of up to 4 (Squads), teams of two (Duos) or solos where the player has to fend for themselves.
Once the player(s) jumps off, they have to then land and search where they can for weapons and healing items. They must also watch out for the storm, which reduces their health progressively if they get caught up in it. Not to mention the other players around that you have to watch out for and kill if you can. You can gather items by checking out chests and destroying things in your environment for their materials.
You also have the ability to build structures such as stairs and walls to help give yourself vantage points, escape danger and make structures. This is an integral part of standard gameplay. Another thing to note is the ranking of the weapons in the game, ranked by their colour. Starting from worst to best we have white, green, blue, purple, and gold.
Although Fortnite is a free-to-play game, you have the option to buy something called a battle pass which means that as you level up you also get new skins and dance moves for your character to personalise your experience that bit more.
Save the World
Save the world is actually the game mode that was released before battle royale, although the battle royale option is the most popular! This game mode is player vs everyone where you have the option to play with up to 3 other members to help save the world. This mode of the game is more like the campaign, where 98% of the world’s population has been wiped out and it’s the job of the player to fight off things such as zombie-like creatures, scavenge resources and find allies to expand your storm shield. Storm shields cleared the storms from above and stopped zombies from going to that area. The end goal is to return the Earth to the way it was. There are four different heroes that you can choose from who can all do the same thing except having different unique abilities that slightly differentiate them from the other.
Zero Build
Zero Build is a gaming mode which is the same as battle royale, but with a twist! In this gaming mode, you are unable to build anything at all, which means you must rely solely on sharp thinking and constant awareness to remain alive.
Without the capacity to build structures, it makes escape and defence much more complex than they usually are. However, a lot of people are not massive fans of the building aspect of Fortnite so opt for this game mode to fulfil their preferences in gaming.

Fortnite is a game we all know and love. In 2017, the world was introduced to a game that would change our lives forever… with its cool graphics, interesting concepts, intricate styles with team-size options and live concerts with big artists such as Ariana Grande and Travis Scott, it could not be helped that this is THE game that would shake the Earth’s core.
I remember first seeing the word Fortnite on my screen, as just a baby gamer. Seeing the words did something that immediately changed my life’s trajectory. It took over my life. I ran, I smoked, I danced until dawn… but I could not escape the feeling.
I would be brewing coffee before work and seeing the words “chug jug” form in the milk like my latte knew what was on my mind and tearing me from the inside outwards. I would look up to the sky, in desperation and hope for my future, “Why, oh why!” I would scream, “Why can I not escape this game!”.
It was a Friday night, and I was at the local Wetherspoons here in Texas. I was swaying my hips and running my fingers through my hair; hoping to lose myself in the night, maybe I could find something new to take my mind away – something to change this never-ending journey I am on to find out more about this game that has found its way into every fibre of my being. I look up, from the sea of vampires and saw him. I saw the blonde character… It was him. I felt at this point everything in my life had led to this moment. He held me in his embrace and leaned in. At this moment, I knew that nothing else mattered; it was at this moment I knew I had found my meaning. It was him. It was always him. He then swerved to my ear, and with a wry grin he whispers, “Lol you sussy baka”.
Paid game?
The first fact about Fortnite that you MUST know about is the fact that when it was initially released you had to pay for it! Crazy, right? It was only in September of 2017 that Fortnite became a free-to-play game for all.
How much did they make in 2018?
Fortnite generated a whopping $2.4 billion in revenue in 2018, and it was even the subject of a science test for a student’s finals project because of this. 2018 was Fortnite’s second year of activity and generated that much which just shows how effective the free-to-play in-game purchase method is in generating money.
I’m sorry… what is the processor requirement?
You would assume that you would need a lot of RAM to run this however, this could not be further from the truth! In fact, you only need an i3 processor to run the game! I learned this on the website of a company called 3B systems, here is the link:
