been into six for two years (ever since the og w/e cast) and damn, youtube comments never change. it’s always a backhanded compliment or a flatout insult whenever a queen performs and it boggles my mind how many fans of six STILL miss the point of six entirely
(esp towards queens of color, zara and cj always get the short end of the stick whenever they perform and it really sucks ass)

You bring the corsets
We’ll bring the cinches
No one wants a waist over nine inches
So what the make up contains lead poison?
At least your complexion will bring all the boys in

Hi! You seem to know lots of things :) I was looking at antique jewelry when I came across a necklace from the Georgian era with a lock of hair inside. The description of the necklace says "The reverse side is hand engraved with a commemoration of the earlier passing of Queen Katherine Parr, "Q.C.T. died 5th Sept, 1548.”" I was wondering why a Georgian memorial locket would be inscribed with that??? Thanks!
Well! Back in the day, if people found something important, they would just rummage around and take whatever they wanted. (In Victorian times, visitors to Stonehenge were given a HAMMER AND CHISEL so they could take souvenirs!)
In this case, Katherine Parr's tomb was rediscovered in the ruins of the Sudeley Castle chapel in the 1700s, and the guy who found her took some locks of her hair, presumably to sell. (He also noted that one of her arms was "white and moist", which, ew.) Despite the owner of the castle then putting a stone slab over the tomb, the body was disturbed several more times over the decade, and more "souvenirs" were taken, including a bit of her dress and a TOOTH (yikes). By the time the queen was permanently reinterred in an altar-style tomb during renovations of the chapel, the body had been reduced to a skeleton and a few scraps of cloth.
In conclusion, gross.
