The apology that followed was something that surprised him, but he nodded in response before adding, “hey, it’s not like i didn’t deserve them,” he reassures him that he understood why he had said or done anything towards him. He smiles lightly when Jensen joins them and they have a triple hug, which was starting to get Felix a bit emotional as well but he did his best to hold it in. “You have my word,” he says confidently.

Jamie had to admit, once the cloud of animosity was blown away, it was easier to talk to Felix. He hated hating the kid. Felix was special to him. He saw the guy go from boy to man in front of his eyes. Once he allowed himself to let go of that anger, that usually left his body tense, he was able to breath again. He turned around to look at Felix and felt something in his heart. memories of Felix and him talking ... sharing deep dark secrets... Felix coming to with with ‘man to man questions..’ 

He set his beer beside the grill and wrapped his arms around Felix, truly hugging him for what felt like an eternity. “I’m sorry for everything hurtful thing that I ever said or done to you Felix. I’m sorry..” he let out a few tears as he opened his arm for Jensen. These two where is boys. 

Jensen joined in the hug; truly overcome with emotion at his brother hugging his boyfriend and allowing him into his heart once again. Jamie rarely sheds tears. He kissed his brother and Felix on their cheeks as Jamie spoke. 

“Please... don’t hurt my baby brother again Felix " Jamie said as he tightened his hold on them both.

Jamie had to admit that it was getting somewhat easier to have a nice conversation with Felix. Heck, they did have a pretty close relationship when they met years ago. He was like an older protective brother with him; it was easy to step into that roll since Jensen would bring him home practically every day after school. He felt a little pang in his heart at the memory of a younger Felix.. practically alone. He then felt guilty for the fights and arguments. He was confused with his feelings but he told Jensen he would try and he did miss Felix and the way they used to be before everything got complicated. “Thank you, buddy boy..” he sang as he tossed Felix a can of beer, using the nickname that he gave him when Felix was a preteen after the younger man dropped off the steak at the picnic table. “I’m actually going to be heading out in a few days. You know what that means right?” He said as he turned seriously at Felix and jabbed his arm. “Its up to you to protect my little brother.” he winked before turning around to place the steaks on the grill. He wasn’t stupid enough to believe that Jensen wouldn’t have his boyfriend over. Heck .. they would probably fuck on top of every piece of furniture in the large loft. 

“What was that about protecting me?” Jensen said as he walked out into the balcony rubbing his head. 

“Baby.. you ran on up from under me so quick that you knocked me onto the floor.” He chuckled but winced as he rubbed his head. “Next time warn a guy..” he laughed. “I was seconds away from showing you just how great I can balance..” he teased. Laughing as Jamie made a gagging sound.

“That’s gross, Jensen. I do not need to picture my little brother balancing on your boyfriend’s cock..” he shook his head, laughing as he tossed Felix’s another can of ice cold beer. “Here.. put it on your boyfriend’s head, Casa Nova..” He poked fun at him in jest with the last nickname. 

jamie had always been someone felix looked up to growing up, especially since Jamie reminded him of himself at times. He was like an older brother to him, but he always felt like he wasn’t worthy of that support whenever he hurt Jensen. He hated disappointed them both, but he understood if Jamie hated him as well. Felix would have hated himself if he was Jamie. Felix takes a sip of his beer, needing it at the moment. “Of course I’ll protect him,” he promises with a nod as he watches the steak on the grill sizzle and begin to cook. It had been a few days since he had had a home-cooked meal, but it wasn’t a meal that he had cooked, he had to admit.  Felix couldn’t help but chuckle at his boyfriends arrival and puts an arm loosely around his waist and kissing his cheek. “Baby, behave,” he shakes his head, laughing lightly. Felix catches the beer and hands it to Jensen, then takes a longer sip of his own. “Stop giving your brother images he doesn’t need,” he directed Jensen and shakes his head.
