IT IS A REAL PROBLEM THAT AFFECTS MILLIONS OF PEOPLE AND IS NOT “QUIRKY” IT IS AN ILLNESS THAT AFFECTS THE MIND AND HOW YOU FUNCTION ON A DAILY BASIS

do not let robin williams die in vain, use his death as a lesson and a reminder than anybody can suffer from depression no matter their outward behavior or reputation.

I'm already sick of seeing tweets about how people are showing so much support to Robin Williams, but others are forgotten. Unfortunately, we all die but not all of us get the oppourtunity to affect so many people's lives and that's what Robin Williams did. People are showing respect to Robin because he was an international icon, especially for comedy. If you cared so much about the tragedy of death, you would have enough respect not to complain. Robin was not better than any of us, but he's someone that a lot of us got to know through his career. We as humans should mourn our dead of course, but we have huge emotional holes. You can't complain about thousands of deaths one night being forgotten, yet fail to recognise disasters in countries you've never heard of the next. One human cannot mourn thousands of lives each day. The harsh reality is that we can only grieve for the ones closest to our hearts. In many cases, Robin was one of those. Even if you still believe that I am wrong, you are open to your opinion, but he hasn't been dead for a day yet. Show respect
