ok well who is hayden and then jack was talking about how he couldnt talk about something in the latest post
Hayden is Hiccup's (Henrik) reincarnation after he was killed by Dagur, but Hayden doesn't want to be seen as or reffered to as Hiccup ovo And Jack doesn't want to talk about Henrik's death in fear that he'd have a break down in front of Hayden ovo Hope that cleared up some confusion! --Mun

Jack couldn’t help but openly stare at Hiccup for a bit. He was definitely a lot cuter up close, especially with all those freckles on his face. And those green eyes were so expressive, so big, and so pretty. Jack wasn’t snapped out of his little trance until he realized he was being offered a hand to shake, which he hastily took.
“I know,” Jack said with a chuckle without thinking. There was a moment for him to reflect upon what he just said, before his pale face flushed pink. “I mean--! Th-this isn’t the first time we met! You probably don’t remember, but you helped me find my class the first day of the semester,” Jack quickly explained before Hiccup thought he was some sort of creep who’s been stalking him...which wasn’t that far from the truth.
Realizing they were in the middle of the hall, and no doubt in the way, Jack got behind Hiccup’s wheelchair, and pushed him off to the side where they’d be safe from the crowd of students. Jack smiled apologetically. “Sorry, we were kind of in he way.” A pause. “Oh! I-I’m Jackson Overland Frost, but everybody calls me Jack. Nice to officially meet you, Hiccup,” Jack introduced while internally chiding himself for being such a block head.
You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid
Hiccup blushed a very soft pink, his freckles almost dancing off his cheeks and nose. He hadn’t expected anyone to come help him, it usually didn’t happen.
Trying to sputter out a sentence, Hiccup bit his bottom lip softly before uttering a small ‘Thank you’, and nothing else. He wanted to get out of everyone’s way, but he didn’t want to seem rude. After a brief moment, the brunet looked up and stuck out a gloved hand. “I’m Hiccup. I mean that’s not my real name, but uh, everyone calls me  that….”
  ‘Wow, Hic real smooth’

Jack stared with pursed lips and furrowed eyebrows as Hiccup struggled with his wheelchair for the second time this week down this hall. How did he know? He may or may not have been watching the brunet for the past week ever since he spotted him on the first day of class. Jack had been smitten with him that he just couldn’t help himself and follow the brunet with his eyes whenever he caught sight of him.
The first time he had seen this happened, he had been so caught off guard and wasn’t emotionally prepared to talk to his little crush. He still wasn’t honestly, but last time he had been so frozen to do anything, Hiccup had been sneered and laughed at. Frankly, Jack didn’t want Hiccup to go through that humiliation again, so before he realized it, his legs were moving on their own until he stood in front of the struggling freckled male.
“Need a hand?” Jack said with a nervous crooked smile when he got Hiccup’s attention. “Be cool Jackson, be cool,” Jack thought to himself, trying not to make a fool of himself like tripping over himself or something of the sort as he crouched down on one knee next to Hiccup and his wheelchair. He looked up at Hiccup, and instinctively smiled before he gestured at the locks. “May I?”
He waited till Hiccup gave him permission and a bit of space before he did his magic. With a wiggle here and there, and a hard yank or two, Jack unlocked the wheelchair with hardly batting an eye. Grinning, Jack stood up and brushed himself off. “My younger sister has a wheelchair of her own, and sometimes it just needs a special touch,” Jack said with a smile that showed off his pearly whites.
You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid

College isn’t easy, anyone will tell you that right away. Even if you’re in the ranks of the smart people, it’s still not easy. Add being disabled to that, and it’s a double whammy. For Hiccup Haddock, college was the start to new things, and the start to new struggles.
Hiccup didn’t expect college to be easy for him, even with his advanced grades, his smarts, wits, and his scholarships. Being awkward was one thing, but when you’re a college kid with mobility aids via a missing left leg, well, you can put the pieces together.
When he was fifteen, Hiccup lost his left leg when it snapped in two places, cue falling off his bike on the way home from his job at his father’s best friend’s mechanic shop. The break was so bad that it had gotten infected and needed amputated. It was a long road to recovery and it took Hiccup almost six  months to get used to walking around on his prosthetic leg. Still, he overcame the impossible, and got himself into college while maintaining his job. Sometimes he needed to use a wheelchair ; a green ultralight chair that was easy to maneuver and get around in. Other times, he used his black walking cane to get around. Then , on REALLY good days, Hiccup just walked around like a normal person.
College wasn’t going to be easy, bringing all these things with him. Plus his two-year-old black cat, Toothless that he had rescued from the shelter. Hiccup had a lot of baggage (literally) to bring to college with him, and he hoped to the gods above that nothing would fuck things up for him.
Of course, cue the first week of classes. Already racked with nerves, Hiccup was trying to find his way to his classes within the first week on his own. He didn’t have a dorm roomie and his best friend Astrid Hofferson was on the other side of the campus with her own dorm and classes. Hiccup was literally on his own around here, even after studying the campus map for hours on end. Sometimes, his leg locked up and he would have to try to get out of people’s way to fix it. Sometimes, his wheelchair locks freaked out on him and he would be stuck in the middle of the hallways or hugging the wall, trying to get them unstuck. It was a pain in the ass, and he could always see people staring or hear them whispering.
On this particular day, the beginning of the second week of classes, Hiccup was in a horrible situation once again. Stuck right smack in the middle of the busiest hallway on campus with his stupid wheelchair locks stuck again. It seemed to be that no matter hoe many times Hiccup altered , greased, or fixed the locks, they loved to fuck up on him. Especially in the presence of company or busy areas. Curing silently to himself and trying to block out the sounds of giggles and hushed talking, Hiccup yanked and pulled on the locks with all his might with his gloved hands, not at all paying any mind to the one person in the hallway who looked rather concerned about the whole situation, rather than just passing by and laughing.

Jack was about to tell Hayden that if he didn't want to tell him that it was okay, but then the brunet spoke, and what he said surprised the vampire. "You...remember?" Jack said in a voice just barely above a whisper. Jack wasn't sure what he felt exactly, it was a strange mix of joy and grief, and the grief only seemed to amplify when Hayden said he heard him talk and asked him what he said, and about the rings.
The vampire laughed out of nerves before he tried to play it off as if it were nothing. "I talk to myself all the time, I was just mumbling about what I should make for breakfast," he said with a smile that would look genuine to anyone if they didn't know Jack very well. He had always been a good liar when he really wanted to be, but he never was a good liar with Hiccup. That boy saw through his fake smiles and nervous little habits every single time. But this was Hayden...they've only gotten to know about each other for a week or so. Hiccup knew about his fake smiles, but he doubted Hayden did. "And I was just looking at the time," he added, hoping that Hayden won't ask to sre the watch or whatever. Even then, he'll just avoid it. He didn't want to talk about...that. He was afraid he'd become a mess in front of the brunet.

Jack chuckled at Hayden’s reply before he said, “I bet. You slept like the dead, and you got some color back in your face, so that’s good.” Jack got the strong urge to touch Hayden, not sexually, but he just wanted to caress his face or hold him close in a hug or even hold his hand. And boy did he want to shower him in soft butterfly kisses, especially with they way Hayden was looking at him. It probably was his wishful thinking, but the brunet almost looked like he wanted to be touched just as much. But the vampire kept his hands to himself and absentmindedly chewed on his bottom lip.
When he was asked how he slept, Jack paused and sort of just blinked slowly at the other. “Oh I probably should have slept, huh?” he said with sheepish smile, basically telling Hayden that he hadn’t slept a wink. Vampires could go a couple of days without sleep with no trouble at all it they wanted to, which apparently seemed to be the case for Jack. “I guess I wasn’t all that tired, probably thanks to my um--recent feed...” The fair haired male awkwardly looked away, a bit uncomfortable saying that out loud, but he quickly brushed it off as there was a more worrisome thought on his mind. “Something wrong? You kinda looked like you wanted to tell me something,” Jack asked with a slight tilt of his head. He hadn’t missed the hesitation in Hayden’s tone of voice.
Werewolves at Midnight
But Hayden's cheeks faintly blushed and he didn't say anything about the action. "I slept wonderfully. Thank you Jack....." He was tempted to try and figure out what the other had been holding.... tempted to ask. Even tempted to ask him to stay when his hand pulled back, but he restrained himself because his fondness almost..... scared him. He liked it..... the touches... but his dream..... "Hey....." he began. "What about you? How...... did you sleep.....?" he wasn't sure what to ask... and he even sounded hesitant to ask anything at all.... This was because of his hesitation to the dream he had had.

Jack seemed to stay in his own little world for a couple of minutes more, thoughts lingering in the past in bittersweet fondness, before he noticed green eyes looking at him. The vampire instantly smiled as he quickly stuffed the rings and necklace back into his shirt. “Sorry, did I wake you?” Jack murmured as he carefully propped himself up on his arm, peering down at the brunet with that gentle look he often used on him. “Feeling better?” he asked. As he waited for an answer, he thoughtlessly reached over and brushed Hayden’s hair out of his face. If the other was ever to ask him why he did that, Jack probably would get embarrassed. It was out of habit, but he did it because he liked having a clearer view of the brunet’s face.
Werewolves at Midnight
Hayden slept peacefully. He dreamed of so many strange things, but none of them scared him. He dreamed of living in the woods alone with Jack…. That their loneliness to the world was spared by the love of each other. He dreamed of houses in a suburban fashion.. and going to school with Jack… looking forward to seeing him every day. He dreamed of a dreaded night where he was dragged out and harmed… turned into a monster… and that should have terrified him but he felt safe because he dreamed Jack was there to bring him back. He dreamed of vows…. and even if he couldn’t remember them, they made him so happy.
When Hayden woke, he sat up slowly and looked at his hands, realizing he felt amazing…. And that he felt SAFE. Even the college student, for as tall as he was. did not feel safe with many people, because he did not trust a lot of people. This was because growing up different had made him weary of other people’s actions and thoughts on him. He had good friends and he missed them a lot. But….. if he didn’t go back, he found he wouldn’t mind. Jack was his friend… and he forgave him his actions because he understood them. A part of him liked it, knowing that someone could care this much for him. It made him feel good. When Hayden woke, it was because he heard someone speaking and he turned to roll over, noticing Jack holding something. It… looked kind of personal though by the way he was looking at it as he stayed quiet for a moment, wondering if he should speak up…. And ask about the dream he just had.

Jack was genuinely surprised that Hayden would be so bold as to ask him to get in bed with him and comfort him. Surprised enough that he was left speechless, and all he could muster was a nod before he got up crawled into bed with the brunet. He made sure to cover Hayden with the covers more than him, seeing as he was cold to the touch before he wrapped his arms around the human. He held him to his chest and rested his chin on top of his head, which only made him chuckle softly.
“How is it that you’re the tall one, but I’m the one coddling you like this?” he joked softly as he yet again brushed hair out of Hayden’s face. Old habits died hard, even habits that hadn’t been in practice for decades. Another habit that seemed to have carried over with Hayden was his humming. The vampire hummed a song he had often used to sing to Hiccup, and even after Hayden had fallen asleep, he kept on humming, and holding the brunet close.
As the hours passed with Hayden sleeping, Jack would catch himself, more than once, staring at his sleeping face, or running his fingers through his hair, or even caressing his cheek with the back of his hand. He treat Hayden so delicately, and with so much care many people would feel envious of the brunet for having someone so dedicated. In those hours, Jack thought about a lot, about what happened yesterday, about Hayden’s forgiving words, about how they made up two weeks ago, became friends, how they first met….about Hiccup….
Jack’s eyes, so vibrant now that he had Hayden in his life, dulled from the uncomfortable throb in his chest. Seconds ticked by without him moving and staring off into nothing, before he carefully, so as not to wake Hayden, reached in his shirt, only to pull out a necklace. It was a long necklace, and on that necklace dangled two rings; his and Hiccup’s wedding rings… Jack always kept them hidden from sight but always kept them close whether it was on him or in a little box he had that not even Pitch knew about. He tried to wear it as much as possible, tried not to walk around shirtless or else people would see it. It was the only thing he had of Hiccup’s…
Jack found himself thinking about the day he finally had earn enough money to buy these rings. He remembered how excited he was when he got to the cabin, playing that little magic trick on Hiccup to present the ring to him, how Hiccup literally jumped at him in joy with tears running down his face, and how they exchanged their vows… “And I vow…” Jack murmured to himself as he turned the rings in his fingers, “to keep you safe, to kiss away all of your tears, to pinch your butt when you’re in a grumpy mood,” Jack smiled bitter sweetly and he felt his throat tighten, but he kept going, “and to love you for all of eternity…” Jack took in a shaky breath before he wrapped his hand around the rings tightly. ”I may have failed to keep first three promises….but I’ll never break that last one…”
Werewolves at Midnight
Hayden blushed but looked at Jack. “Bed.” He said. “On the bed… hold me like mom would…. Uhhhg…” He hid his face in the pillow, head hurting so much. He wanted to be comforted… Jack was gentle. He knew that. “If… if it’s ok.” He just didn’t want to make Jack uncomfortable either.  But he was growing tired too and his eyes were drooping almost asleep already.
