Told all my life that raw chicken = salmonella poisoning like that's just natural but no, it's just because it's not something food companies are legally required to control at their end and America is only NOW considering classifying it as a "contaminant?!" Meaning it would become a violation of federal law to sell meat with any detectable presence of it?? We could have fucking done that all along???

i'm not a #gamer so i may be describing something that already exists but i feel like an obvious way to improve many durability mechanics is to have them be maintenance mechanics
tools and weapons need to be sharpened, leather needs to be oiled, guns need to be disassembled and cleaned, etc. i think 'your gear lost its weather resistance buff because you consistently failed to take care of it' is both way more realistic and way less frustrating than 'uh oh, used your gear for the intended purpose too many times :\ it broke'
