I think that's actually an error with the extension to 'fix' the posts, so that one's not staff's fault.
Except it’s happening to people who use mobile and there’s no mobile extension to fix the posts. The mobile website and actual website don’t show the replies, but they do show up on the stupid mobile app. Staff is doing something. I don’t know what it is. I just know that it’s irritating.

I was always better with books than people.
[ there's an unspoken 'until you' in there somewhere ]
I'm sure that by the time they get to interviewing my parents
that they'll be very convincing. They've already told the story
all over Sheffield, I'm sure.
That's very good of him to help you out. I'm glad you get
to stay as well.
I'm sure everything will be fine; your mum has always
seemed very supportive of you.
I suppose that makes sense, what with you going
off to uni so young and all. I’m sure my mum
is probably expecting the same for me.
I know, I just meant that she won’t sound like
it’s what it started as when they call her to
check in on things.
He, um… There’s not really anyone else on
that I could ask and when I explained what
was going on, he said he’d help.
…Now, I just have to explain the whole marrying a
a man to mum…. Haven’t even told her I’m bi.

Jemma nodded slightly. That wasn't uncommon.
Sometimes anxiety was set off by things that not
even the person experiencing it could explain.
"That's fine too." She was no stranger to anxiety;
though in her case it was mostly triggered by her
PTSD. "Is there anything I can do to help when it
happens? I can... I mean sometimes it's easier for
me if I have something else to focus on instead."
It was the first time in a while someone had told him
he didn’t have to apologize for his anxiety or the attacks
that happened because of it. He nodded slowly and
turned his head so he could look at her. “Used to be
able to tell what caused ‘em. PTSD induced or some
shit like that. But sometimes… I just don’t know.”

He is doing a very good job acquiring what he
can, but some of it was specially designed, so
it's harder to get a hold of. Granted, we could
reproduce some of the equipment, if we had
the materials, and the manpower.

"I'm quite fond of macaroons actually, I'd love a few if you don't mind sharing. You're welcome to whatever you can find in the kitchen, though I can't guarantee there's anything in there at the moment."
“I can wait. It’s not that urgent. Is that a no to the cookies? They’re macaroons.”

"It's for a vintage aircraft restoration project, which is I believe why I'm here." As to why she had specifically been sent, she assumed it had something to do with her non-threatening demeanor and people skills. "I'm looking for a valvetrain replacement for the Menasco C-4 engine in a 1938 Rearwin 6000M Speedster."
“Maybe not, but you still work for Shashlyk … he and I will never be on the same side of things. I’m guessing he made a deal with Danvers for parts — I’ll deal with her warped humour later - what part?”

"I think that I should be able to manage." Even after temporarily having her own apartment when she'd been undercover, Jemma really didn't have that many things to get settled anywhere. "Unless you're worried about me moving something that you'd rather not have moved?"
“Good.” He couldn’t help the smile that formed as he looked around the apartment. “Let me know if you need anything at all while you’re settling in.”

@callitcoulson { x }:
The movie had been a way to make sure she’d take a break from working non stop. It seemed like every time Clint saw her, she was working and he was pretty sure that she wasn’t sleeping like she should. It had taken more convincing than he’d thought it would to get her to come sit with him and take a break. After all, she had an entire team of scientist working the same case; she could afford to take a few hours for herself.
When she’d shifted to lay down, using his leg as a pillow, his hand dropped to card his fingers through her hair. It was more domestic than Clint was used to but he couldn’t help the smile as he relaxed, listening to her breathing even out. He’d let her sleep for a while before he coaxed her to bed but for now, he was content to stay like this.
If it was getting to the point where Jemma couldn't even stay awake through an entire movie, she was obviously working herself too hard. Or maybe it was the change in hours. Clint was more of a night owl and she was definitely a morning person and so between the two of them, she was going to bed much too late and waking up much too early. She was trying to spend time together, to get to know him, and as such, was working up quite a sleep deficit.
She hadn't thought much about using him for a pillow. Tired but not that tired, or so she thought; his fingers in her hair had been more than relaxing enough for her to fall asleep. She woke up at some point after the credits started to roll. "Did I fall asleep?" She hoped she hadn't drooled all over him.

Clint hadn’t expected to be home for a few more days so it didn’t surprise him that she wasn’t in the living room. He hummed and checked the kitchen before he made his way to the bedroom, assuming that if she wasn’t there, she must have been at work.
He stopped in the doorway, his jaw dropping slightly as he took in the sight of her in their bed. There had been numerous fantasies of just this happening, if he were honest with himself, but he hadn’t expected that it would actually happen. Clint bit his lip before he knocked on the doorframe loudly, hoping it would be enough to get her attention over her music.
“Am I interrupting?”
Despite the fact that her fantasy had started out something like this, it doesn't make it any less embarrassing to be caught with her nightgown pushed up around her waist and her hand inside her panties.
"Yes." The fact that she was right on the edge was all but forgotten as she pulled her hand away to yank out the earbuds. "No." She swiftly pulled the blanket up around her chest as she sat up. Hopefully she hadn't actually whimpered his name while she was touching herself. That was probably the only thing that would have made this more embarrassing. "You're home early."

"He might have forgotten about it entirely,
I guess we'll just have to wait and see."
Though Jemma was hoping that it was that
he believed them to be competent and not
that he would be coming in any day now to
start over entirely.
"Maybe we'll just have to find some other way
to wake you up in the morning then."

I never said I wasn't intelligent. I said that I wasn't
impressive. There's a difference.
If you’re trying to convince me that you’re
not as intelligent as I was told, you’re failing.

"When you and Agent Romanoff turned SHIELD upside down,
do you know where I was? Sitting in a containment cell at the
bottom of the ocean with my best friend in the world waiting for
our oxygen to run out. So yes, I know what it was like to be
betrayed by people I thought were my friends because they
were Hydra."
And there wasn't a day that passed that Jemma didn't regret
trusting Ward in the first place, because if they hadn't maybe
things would've turned out differently. Maybe Fitz would still be,
well Fitz. But there wasn’t much to do about it other than try
and recover from the experience, and if possible watch Grant
Ward die a slow and excruciatingly painful death.
"But you can't hide these kinds of people, these powers, for as
long as they've been hidden and expect anyone normal to be
able to handle it at all. What would any government in the world
have done with Thor when he showed up? Without SHIELD,
he'd be locked up somewhere or in jars or something else terrible
because people are designed to be afraid of things that they
don't understand.”
“But SHIELD is different now; it's back to what it's supposed to be.
And right now our main priorities are reacquiring the technologies
and facilities that Hydra captured, and keeping the people of the
world safe. And not with some deeply misleading concept of stopping
threats before they happen but by trying to empower the people of
earth so that when threats do happen, there is something other
than you and the other Avengers to stop them. Ideally in the most
safe and humane way possible."
“Knowingly or not, the fact remains the same. A lot of those
I once considered friends turned on me. I’m surprised you’re
so calm about this. Considering some of your own friends
probably turned against you. They harboured a terrorist
organisation. I’m sorry I’m not all – fluffy bunnies about it.”
It wasn’t an argument he wanted to get into. Not again. He
had dealt with it far too many times since he’d come back
to work with them. Or at least consult with them. Steve still
refused to work with them full time. But if they needed his
help he would offer it. Of course he was more sceptical as
well. HYDRA could still be in the shadows of SHIELD. Or
whatever they were calling themselves now. He couldn’t let
himself fall into the same routine he’d fallen into before.
“No one is prepared to handle that sort of thing. Not even
Stark and the Avengers. But at least we know just what we’re
getting into and whom we’re working with. The same thing
can’t be said about some of these governments. Or this new
organisation calling itself SHIELD. I think DC showed us
just how unprepared we are for this new world.”

"Right, of course." Jemma was used to dealing with people who knew her way around the facilities better than she did. So it hadn’t occurred to her that he wouldn’t know where to go. "There's actually a changing room right over there, across the hall. And you can just come back over here when you're done and I'll get all of the machines set up."
Looking into the bag, it looked like he’d been given a pile of sheets. Reminding himself these ‘scrubs’ were necessary for the procedures, he figured he could make do. Nodding along, he dragged his gaze from the bag of laundry to the clinical room. “Very well… Where can I change?” Remembering how uncomfortable he once made Jemma with his nudity, though he thought little of it, he’d prefer not to cause her another incredibly awkward episode.
