first of all this is 1000% a theory i can get behind bc i’ve been saying the same shit for years that wigglytuff is the guild master for a REASON and i feel like partially because he can detect the worst in characters because they think due to his front that he is too dumb to catch on

second of all i didn’t process that fogbound lake was pkmd at first and i was confused as to how team skull of sm/usum and a random wigglytuff correlated

I just got to the whole Fogbound Lake part of the story where Team Skull is about to gang up on you and your partner and like. Idk if this is a common headcanon or just smth I’ve personally believed for years but. When Wigglytuff comes charging out of the woods chasing his Perfect Apple at the EXACT moment Team Skull was about to attack you…that cannot be a coincidence. I bet you he was probably standing by the entire time, probably even before Team Skull came out of hiding, watching his apprentices solve the mystery of the Groudon Statue…and then when Team Skull revealed what absolute assholes they were, and even hinted at what took place in Apple Woods…he was probably like oh NO they don’t. Not MY apprentices. Not MY guild. So he chose to come running in at that exact moment. And played the oblivious buffoon card right up until the very end, and promptly served Team Skull’s asses to them on a platter.

I mean we get lots of little hints within the game (especially his special episode) that Wigglytuff is way smarter and way more resourceful than he lets on. I just love the idea of him jumping in to protect his apprentices and thrashing Team Skull to hell for not only being bullies but also for lying to the guild? And playing Chatot for a fool? NOT gonna stand. Nothing but respect for MY Guildmaster

okay so some areas in hisui based on location and music indicate that they are where modern sinnoh places are, like the forest playing the eterna forest theme cuz that’s obv where the one major forest in sinnoh is

twinleafs theme is played faintly on prelude beach, meaning that twinleaf was originally an extension of jubilife and a major dock for the region

now i’m not far enough into legends arceus to have gotten to these areas, but in modern sinnoh the two major docks are in canalave and snowpoint. the place where twinleaf would extend is blocked off by trees

as one can see here, in both the remakes and in the original, there is water at the bottom of twinleaf town, but the rest of it has been blocked off by trees

and when we compare the maps, there is something obviously different with the land in that area

modern twinleaf town looks like it’s on a cliff

we can see the mass of ocean that was originally right by twinleaf, but it’s blocked by grassland (likely the trees we see in-game” and what looks like a cliff

i don’t have a really credible theory for why this is, but if there was an exact timeline for this i would be able to tell if legends arceus is before or after groudon and kyogre fight

according to serebii.net, hoenn and sinnoh are actually like the furthest apart they could be

green is hoenn, yellow is sinnoh

however the battle of groudon and kyogre was between two legendary pokemon, who, if we take oras into consideration, have very devastating powers normally that get worse with activation. tbh i don’t think it’s too far fetched for the affects of groudon’s land manipulation and kyogre’s sea manipulation to have reached sinnoh a bit

like i said this theory is a little unreliable but i think it would be cool
