Nobody noticed - after all, he fits right in amongst the insanity - but Grian is very... not necessarily violent, no. He's sadistic. He enjoys seeing others in pain, he enjoys causing it. That's how he entertains himself. Whenever he gets the chance, he will gladly cause the chaos, but most of the time, he's content just Watching it unfold.

I have this headcanon that Grian befriends Lizzie when they are kids after the events went down in YHS (the prequel one) which could explain why he was so protective over her when she was visiting in TY.
He didn't want her to experience that pain that he went through at his time in YHS and TY especially his childhood friend. Lizzie, the first friend that he ever made in his life.

One time while I was watching YHS (the prequel one) and there was a little dialogue where Grian said that he used to have a doll that looks like him when Sam and Taurtis where curious about his "friend" since they have both objects that they consider as friends to them. (Like Sam with his Teddy bear and Taurtis with his fish at the time)
Which made me think about the dialogue that was used in the episode. Which made me this headcanon.
you see I have another headcanon that Grian has a little sister, they have a deep bond with each other and consider her as his only friend besides his look a like doll of course but when their parents sent Grian a way since at the time, both their parents were in the process of divorcing.
(IDK, what reason that they sent him to Japan but I'm guessing that there was an exchange student program that was happening in his old school, so I guess Grian signed up to get away from his toxic household or something like that)
The little sister was confused and scared at the time while Grian, despite being 7 at least understood by his knowledge of what was happening but he didn't want to leave her alone by herself, so he left his look a like doll to her and to let her know that "If you miss them you then you can remember me though this doll." The little understood what he said and kept the doll.
And years later in Evo, out of nowhere where Pearl drops down was meeting by Grian, unexpectedly at first he was surprised by a new member who joined the server but for some reason, he knows her but why.
That's when she took out the doll that looked just like him and said "Brother, it's me Pearl, your little sister."
Yes, in my headcanon, Grian passed down his doll version of him that he mentioned in YHS to his little sister, pearl as a way to remember him when he was gone.

I am not really used to sharing headcanons, but I'll try
I think grian(the character) constantly wears the red sweater, because a long time ago someone called his outfit stupid, so he decided to exclusively wear the sweater and then forgot that there were different clothes other than that one specific sweater. He goes to the store, doesn't see the sweater there and goes like: "oh well, guess they don't have clothes in stock today"

Sometimes I like to think Grian visits YHS (in disguise) once a while after the tragic events that went down years ago. The school decided to make an event for all of the victims that died as a way to honor them out of respect and since Rowan was one of the victims who did died in the school.
Grian decides to go to that event every year because despite all of the stuff he went through but yet here he is at age 30 and he's still kicking it. He wanted to honor Rowan as a thank to him for at least being there for him and being the parental figure while his actual parents didn't care about and both of his childhood friends didn't treat him like a person. But Rowan did.
