You know what I love and just applaud Rachel zegler for doing so well? Making Lucy gray’s mannerisms and tone slightly different whenever she’s performing for the cameras e.g the scene at the zoo when she was being asked questions
More than that I love that in every scene with Coriolanus she doesn’t do that tone or mannerisms EXCEPT THE LAST SCENE SHE HAS WITH HIM BEFORE SHE DISAPPEARS
Like everything about it from the tone of voice to the way that she said “I’m not made out of sugar” to the way that she smiled was just so eerily similar to the way that she acts when she is preforming for an audience
Like I cant be the only one who sees how different she acts
Look at that! that’s a woman PREFORMING if I ever saw one
But what’s so important is that SHE IS preforming, she’s made her choice, she knows she has to leave but she also knows that she is talking to someone who is extremely volatile and has shown that he can kill so she has to bide her time and play it perfectly to disappear like she needed to
So she preforms to stay alive, just like she did in the games, Lucy gray’s last performance was actually this conversation- not any song.

1. Thought Finnick was making out with Peetas corpse and was like "damn didn't know he was fruity like that"
2. When Gale confessed his love for her and she was STRIAGHT up like "yeah I know" 💀
3. Saw Peeta had been crying after the first reaping and immediately thinks "damn he's good, playing the weak sympathy card". Like girl he thinks he's gonna die! He's gonna die!

we cry "the innocent women and children" to appeal to the masses, to try and force their sympathy, but the men and boys are innocent too.
I have seen sons crying out for their mothers, their fathers, their siblings. I have seen them break down at the loss of their families. I have seen them cling to their dead and grieve.
I have seen fathers cradle their dead children, seen them kiss their faces and hold their little hands. I have seen them faint with grief when asked to identify the dead. I have seen them carry their sons and daughters. I have seen them fasting to provide what little they can for their families.
I have seen men and boys digging through the rubble with just their bare hands, I have seen them comforting strangers, playing with children, rocking them, hushing them, even if the face of such imminent danger. I have seen them cry, seen them grieve, seen them break down into each other's arms, seen them be selfless, beyond selfless, becoming something I don't have a word for.
I have seen the men who are doctors refuse to leave their patients, even when they have no medicine or supplies to give them, even when they're threatened with bombings. I have seen fathers who have lost all their children pick orphans up into their arms and proclaim them their child so they are not alone. I have seen men and boys digging pets out of the rubble.
the men are innocent too. the men and boys are being hurt and killed too. the men and boys are grieving too. the men and boys are scared too. the men and boys are fighting to save their people too. the men and boys deserve to be fought for too.

Acftl spoilers
After a few days of shook, I am finally able to pour my heart out about it. So be aware I will give spoilers. This is TOO LONG, grab popcorn if you want to.
Okay... Honestly I feel kinda underwhealmed, but not about the book, about people's reactions to it. And I have to say that seeing the reviews all over social media screaming how dissapointed they were ruined completely my experience with it.
I loved the book, in my point of view it was exactly what it should have been, and it is clearly something Stephanie would write. My problem relies in the fact that I could not take away the word dissapointed of my brain while reading since I started seeing people in my timeline saying it. Like I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I would have if hadn't seen those comments everywhere.
I do think some things should have been more explicit to the reader, but overall it wasn't really necessary. For example, most people are dissapointed because it wasn't explictly stated the reason why Jacks ate apples, but it was honestly easy to infer. Also, Stephanie, as I have realized, is not the type of writer that will tell the reader every detail, she likes to let things in the open, and that is not lazy writing as I have seen so many people comment. We need to remember that this serie is like a fairy tale, and most time fairy tales leave things open, so readers can infer, it is part of the magic. Moreover, from the first book we were warned that stories in the North are cursed and that most details of the stories are either lost or can be wrong, Jacks and Eva's story is a northern tale which is why there are things we are not going to be told, and we are going to have to infer from what we have.
I also disagree when people say that there was no big love confession on Jacks behalf. The WHOLE BOOK was Jacks' love confession, every action, every thought, every look showed Jacks love, and Evangeline knew that. From the moment she gained her memories back, she knew that Jacks loved her, she just needed him to stop fearing his love, and let her in.
I love what we had. It was perfect. The perfect conclusion to a magnificent fairy tale. Stephanie's writing was beautiful and magical, and it was everything it should have been. We, as readers, got too invested in theories that probably were not Stephanie's style of writing. The only thing I would have added is one more Jacks POV at the beginning to show us his reaction to Evangeline's memory lost and to know how he found the letter. ALSO, I would have deleted one of Apollo's POV.
