now... onto our other bistro momo hostess by night, mogul by day: maggie! and her boooooyfriend (caaaaatfriend), bob!
noooow, maggie and bob have a little love story on their own, and it goes a little something like this:
maggie has always been an avid gardener and her house was previously a greenhouse for herself. bob loooooooves flowers and when he came to isle momo, he was running a flower arragement business outside of his house. oooone day, bob began a partnership with maggie to support his business and they caught a lil vibe... that led to drinks one night (at bistro momo, pre-maggie as host). then another night. then another night. and so on and so forth until a romantic connection bloomed organically (ba dum tsss). and now bob's business has expanded with maggie at his side! ugh, don't just love love? <33333
anywaaaaay, let's go inside!
so, we have a live/work situation going on here. you knooooow the air in their house is CRISP! okay, let's go upstairs bc it's quite gorgeous up there.

highlighting a KING on isle momo and the sous-chef of bistro momo, lyman!
and that's his WIFE, goldie. like literally look at them—they're just sooooo wholesome. lyman loves veggies and goldie loves cooking and they're both just too good for this world, so their house operates as both a farmers market and community kitchen. let's go inside, lunch is about to be served!
(idk why i put my PP uniform on but i couldn't take it off so... i guess i'm here on business...)
this carrot juice is so delIcious, omg! anyway, equipped with a salad and hot food bar, lyman and goldie are here to feed. the. children.

lyman and goldie have always insisted on working with what they have. suuuuuuure, they'd love to deck this place out but it's perfect as it is and as long as they're getting food in people's (animals) bellies, then they are happy. ugh, love them.

she was one of my early PP villagers and her house has stayed at the same scale since i first built it. let's go inside, shall we?
bertha's got everything she needs! she's a lil' humble hippo!
one thing about bertha, is she's a sporty girl. she don't play but she loooooves basketball and she's a bit of a sneakerhead (look at those shoes SHINING!)
and she has a lil' birdie!!!! ugh, what a queen!

now where does kidd fit into the main island lore? well, you can't really see it above his desk but there's some of the portraits he's done (eloise, faith, and uh... um... idk who that is and i'm too lazy to check. womp.). ofc, faith's his girl, liiiiike duuuuuh kidd is the one photographing the fr*r artists! but once faith's scandal broke out, kidd also saw an opportunity...
now, let's take a trip back to mug-a-mo. i forgot to show u something...
"oh my, what's this," you ask? welllll, the second floor of mug-a-mo is a gallery space and kidd's having a photography exhibition documenting the scandal to shake up isle momo. (peep pudge + tammy in the corner) (+ tipper <3)
now here we can see all those involved and their links to this scandal/story. (some of them y'all might not recognize bc i haven't gotten to them yet but i will! dw dw)
as previously mentioned, kidd is a legend in his own right. photographing LEGENDS monique + marlo! (and ofc living legend lionel is allowed behind the rope!)

what r u doing tonight? mmm, like at 7:30? yeah, a few of us are gonna grab some drinks at bistro momo—u tryna come?
omg i forgot to take a pic of the outside... and i forgot to use the cinema lens... ugh, WHATEVER.
bistro momo is isle momo's local hot spot. she's a restaurant AND bar and it's soooo yummy. bertha and maggie are the hostesses with the mostesses and they are so wholesome and i love them. tbh, everyone at bistro momo is just an angel. NOOOO drama here!
oh, don't mind me... i'm just sippin on this iced americano while i wait for my friends! they're running a bit behind... hm...
y'know what, it's quite packed up in here so let me give u an aerial shot. back there going towards the kitchen is the washrooms + an arcade game to keep the dolls busy while they're waiting for the toilet. omg wait, it smells so good back here... maybe i can just peek in the kitchen, right?
oh hey flora girl! omg hey lyman! (king!) just wanted to peek my head in and say hey! and that the food is soooo delicious omg y'all snapped!
and there's miss head honcho's desk/"office." (peep the lionel photo—another fan!)
now, i know i said bistro momo was no drama (word to tinashe), but the upstairs is actually a VIP area where the celebrities go without the fear of being hounded by fans. each of the girlies got their own private space (even pudge... 🤢). i 1) forgot to take a photo, but 2) it's really cramped up there so idk if i will... maybe i will later... but also... don't take my word for it.

time to finally introduce miss thing and her sticky feathers: flora! now, i will say... because there were sooooo many moguls building their empires on isle momo, the economy boomed (it did) and the cost of living skyrocketed (it did...). it was tough out here for flora, so she did have to get a roommate and she got the BEST one: tipper!
i actually think that flora was my first PP villager (sorry, eloise). (*single tear*)
flora + tipper are honestly perfect for each other as roommates bc they're both pink princesses and mind their own business and just see each other. real eyes realize real lies... and none are found between them.
it's a modest space and tipper doesn't mind that flora chooses to make her famous peach jams from the kitchen. if anything, tipper loves that her room always smells like peaches since it's right by the kitchen!
awwww, look at tipper lookin' at her man (kidd). that's right, she's #taken! (kidd ties into the main island lore, so we'll get to him eventually).
and flora's room! ugh sauuuuuur cute!
now, flora's not QUITE the mogul as many isle momo residents. it's a lil side hustle that kept her afloat until she took over a certain establishment....

and let's be real, we aren't talking about monique without talking about marlo!
he's also islemomowood royalty. liiiiiiiiike all my villagers' parents have seen his (+ monique's) movies (oh, they've absolutely starred in SEVERAL together). and i can guarantee, they all had crushes on marlo, like.... he was a hunky heartthrob back then!
marlo's a classy muthafuqqa and he's proud of his accomplishments. look at the awaaaards, hunny. and the rose omg ur knees should be weak rn—it's the rose! (y'know, from his biggest movie, [insert funny title here...]) anyway, it's a big deal.
me cosplaying as marlo's assistant, lopez. look, we know the isle momo residents are... traditional (cough cough homophobic), but marlo is surprisingly an ally. (not me outing lopez... but also... look at the chair + frame babe... and wait till we get to his house...)
upstairs, still classy. (maybe now is a good time to note, marlo also has a memoir published by molly!)
lopez got his own room too! for the really busy periods– ugh, the commute can get awful. anyway, look at that gay ass bedding. marlo unsuspecting lgbtq icon slay.

actually, i wanna highlight one of (if not) my first PP villagers: eloise!
she came to my island with one wish: to read! (and i LOVE that for her). her house actually hasn't changed much since i first built it (bc it was 2 cute!)
like, she just needs her books! she don't even need to eat! (she got peach trees outside dw) it's a girl (elephant) and her mini library against the world!
now, she does have a poster of herself by her bed... idk if that's weird but there's a REASON! let's go upstairs...
now here's the new addition to her house that happened during the yassification of isle momo. she just had more books than she had the space for, she needed a bigger library!!! but wait– i kinda see her back there... eloise, whatchu doin' back there!
omg sorry i didn't mean to interrupt! well, less address the elephant in the room... she got her own lil office back here. but it's not an office, it's a writing nook. that's right! miss eloise reads AND writes! manuscripts, hunny. NOVELS, hunny! miss thing is an AUTHOR!!!! (and that poster of her is from her promo shoot—that's right. publisheddddd, hunny!)
but being a prolific author is not eloise's bread & butter (welcome to the arts, sis). what could she possibly do for work...?

next up, pisces queen: naomi!
yet another isle momo mogul, naomi is the owner of isle momo's fine arts gallery/exhibition space, gallery 228. she. is. CURATED, hunny! miss naomi don't play! she's for SERIOUS!
we've got a stunning lounge area just by the admissions desk and one thing about gallery 228, you will NOT see the art without a ticket!
me cosplaying as a g228 employee and um... naomi hire me pls. also, the admissions dept is combined w/ the gift shop and u can buy berets from the gift shop, designer (!!!) like naomi's. these might be candi's design but i also don't remember... (hm...)
hope u enjoy the exhibit! the ticket is non-refundable! (sorry, i have to say that. naomi’s watching…)
anyway, upstairs we have a studio space where g228 does workshops and classes (currently, there's a ceramics class where u can make an incense holder! don't be fooled, i am not teaching this class.) the washrooms are over here too but u can't really see those.
and also up here is naomi's office/quarters. her space is compact!, cunt!, and colourful! (honestly, i wanna be naomi...)
now, does naomi fit into the lore + beef b/w faith and pudge? absolutely! u can bet ur bottom dollar that naomi and faith are like this (🤞🏼) and they don't pLAY about their arts. so naturally... pudge is BANNED!!! from gallery 228.
DO NOT LET THIS MAN (BEAR) IN!!!!

in true isle momo fashion, zell is a friggin mogul. he runs his own boutique hotel called hozell (genius, i know).
omg do the phones always ring like this? where are your receptionists? literally do u have any staff? this poor man (gazelle).......
wow, such a luxurious and elegant dining hall/bar. and premium suites to die for! ugh, magnifique!

(what did i say? TAMMY DESERVES BETTER!) bonbon is moving like a pop diva fr (word to ari........) so bonbon looking like that at her house was bc she is HUNGOVER and INCOGNITO but babe, u weren't slick! faith really can't catch a break, huh...
ANYWAY, that's really the cap on the isle momo lore, so i guess from here, i can show u the other villagers who have their own mini lore (most of them!) and who may in some way or another tie into faith's story!
