Oh you know just thinking about the parallel of Jude and Cardan stealing things from each other to fulfill their emotional fantasies. Cardan steals her ring to fulfill his fantasy of belonging to someone/ being seen by Jude and Jude steals Cardan’s copy of Alice in Wonderland (a mortal story her mother used to read to her) to fulfill her fantasy of someone accepting her mortality/ of Cardan having humanity/ coinciding who her parents wanted her to be with who she is. And how at the end of the series both of their fantasies are fulfilled by each other.
