This was a depressing chocolate shake but I'm posting it because it's a lid and I feel a moral obligation to do so.

The temptation to go to the store, buy a package and consume it in its entirety is becoming overwhelming.

WOOHSPRINGBREAK check it suckas. Look at your soda lid...now look at mine...look at those bubbles...NOW BACK TO MINE. You WISH all the bubbles on your soda lid were pushed down like mine. Sadly they can't be, because mine are awesome and your lid is pathetic.

I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE ALL THINKING

(and by "you're all" I really mean that this tumblr thing is an outlet for my schizophrenia) (also did you realize that even tumbr doesn't recognize 'tumblr' as a word...huh) ANYWAY mental illness of all kinds aside, I DO in fact know what you're all thinking. It goes something like "but [insert my name here because if you actually knew it that would be creepy]! Where are all of the pictures of bubbled in soda lids that we enjoy so much?!", and in response to the ever growing pleas of my adoring fans (the demographic for a blog almost exclusively about soda lids is larger and more demanding than one might expect) I would like to say that they are coming...patience children...patients..wait no patience was right. I will EVENTUALLY purchase a soda lid and rest assured it will be posted here moments after I have dutifully pressed down ALL of the bubbles. So not to worry...stop worrying...that means you, I see you all worried over there, stop it. 

Perhaps you are wondering how you might keep yourself occupied while not worrying about the assured arrival of previously mentioned picture (it has just occured to me that, this being tumblr, I should be instagram-ing these, but thats a post for another time). Well, just as a friendly suggestion, you could be cool like me and spend a few minutes discovering that you still know all the words to this song (seen here in this ridiculous video with black people in it #incendiarycommentsaboutblackpeopleishowiroll)

(keep in mind that that video link I just gave you may well take you to a youtube page with a border heavily featuring members of a band called one direction #youprobablyhaveheardofthemandmayormaynothatethemwithyourentiresoul however instead of throwing your computer across the room (as I understand many may be tempted to) I encourage you to just stare into Liam's stormy eyes for the duration of the 30 second political ad you've seen 4598 times, and embrace that love you really feel for one direction deep down...but this song is not by one direction, so this non-sequitur will now conclude)

  Thats right...I listen to songs created by a band composed of one actual gangsta, one wannabe gangsta, one old white guy and a skanky ho along for the ride (keep in mind that if you are a diehard fan of us3...I don't actually know anything about them and no ones reading this anyway so...who really cares?)

I've just come to the realization that this post is about twice as long as the psychology paper I'm supposed to be writing, that its original intent was merely to assure you that more pictures of soda lids were to follow, and that you're a witch - a full blooded, 100% witch. On that note...I'm going to buy some kind of beverage with a bubbled lid.
