I'M IN TUCSON FOR THE GEM SHOW!
Back in 2018, one of the bead shows I loved to go to had moved from a conveniently located hotel in midtown to the casino out on the Tohono O'odham reservation, i.e. FUCKIN' OUT IN THE STICKS. This wasn't too big of a deal for me at the time, cuz I had already moved out to Philadelphia and didn't know when I'd be back to visit.
SO NOW I'M BACK, AND GUESS WHAT ELSE IS OUT ON THE RESERVATION?
SAN XAVIER MISSION, AKA THE CHURCH I'M WILLING TO BET MY BUICK-SIZED ASS WAS THE INSPIRATION FOR THE SANTO ILESO CHURCH IN SAINTS ROW.
