The funniest thing about Julian Bashir as a character is the combination of the two facts:
He loves to gossip, is awkward in social situations and has 0 deceptive skills.
He is repeatedly approached to be an intelligence asset and spy.
First thing he did when Garak approached him was to RUN to ops as fast as those giraffe legs could carry him and tell everyone about it. Yet Sloan was like "I want this guy".
