As per the holiday tradition, after everybody had finished eating we went around the dinner table and listed one thing that each of us was thankful for. Everybody was saying things like family, love, good health, good luck, etc. My uncle said that he was thankful that his infection had gone away.

I’ll be back in two shakes of a lamb’s butt hole. The lamb is shaking its butt hole because it pooped a minute ago and there’s still a piece stuck to the anal fur. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’ll be back soon.

‘One day in the life of V.M. on Earth’ by Italian-Singaporean design duo Lanzavecchia + Wai, a space quilt in response to this query. As they state: ‘it was not uncommon, in early american culture, for quilts to reflect a mosaic of a woman’s life, often including swatches of material from memorable events…’. via

Martino Gamper & Francis Upritchard’s apartment via T Magazine’s Design Blog (more images)
After long days in the studio, the two meet back at home to make dinner for themselves and the rotating cast of family and friends who always seem to be staying with them. “All of the sudden there are six people around the dinner table,” says Gamper of the constant motion in their household. Says Upritchard, “That’s how we get on so well.”
