"Hmf~ Ah~ N-no!~" The harpy squawked out before Maw's velvet lips ravenously crawled up her plump rump and back, forcing her knees to her feathered chest as she was folded in half by the strength of the ravenous innkeeper's gullet. The harpy could only blush as she was chugged deeper and deeper into Maw's throat as no matter how much she struggled she couldn't change the fact that her specialty revolved around ambush tactics and close range drawn out scuffles like these were her weakness. Still she persisted to squirm and kick, waiting for her chance that her talons could get a lucky angle that never came. A fact that made itself especially and cruelly apparent as she felt the innkeeper's lips press against the back of her head and ankles before the innkeeper suddenly stopped, pausing for an agonizingly long time. At first the harpy thought she was just relishing her meal and then had the cruel hope that maybe she was reconsidering reducing her down into a meal before the jaws clamped around her suddenly released their grip for a moment only to slam back down around her, this time with the lips fully enveloping her head and with one last swallow she felt herself descend deeper into the innkeeper and her feet slip in fully to join the rest of her. She didn't even bother to rake at the soft walls around her with her talons no matter how suffocating they were, for some reason she knew it'd be useless, it was either that or the shock as after she plunged into the cavernous gut she began to squirm and thrash and kick at the walls only to find out that her earlier prediction proved true as every strike was absorbed into the thick walls of her prison and left no impression beyond the brief imprints she made on Maw's gut.

Days after Maw's patron could swear she was housing a few chickens around the inn judging by how many feathers they would find, she must've been making a lot of chicken soup for her cold. Her voice has had an awful squawking noise to it that became especially noticeable when she laughed.
