Following along with the Wonderland Watercolor class from @melanieaprilart - I am in love with the sparkly amethyst and the way the mauve dries with darker lines around itself! I'll admit, it's taken me a while to actually paint along with these classes because I've felt a little bit like it's... cheating? It's as if I'm just making/copying someone else's art, not developing my own style and sense of creativity. But isn't that what classes are *for*? You follow along, you do the assignments, and then you branch out and try new designs, techniques, and patterns. Eventually you grow into making something that's entirely your own, influenced by everything you've ever done and tried. Plus,it's fun.
