Ashton’s fashion decisions are so interesting to me. They started out with something that spoke to their childhood in Bassuras and their nature as a punk rock. Then they learned about their parents and the shards and that encouraged them to think they had a grand destiny. To reflect that, he changed his style into more of a superhero look - something to inspire others when seen.

And then he tried to absorb the shard, nearly died, weathered all his friends being pissed at him, went to the moon, nearly got blown up, went down in the Otohan fight, lost FCG, and finally started admitting to his own needs and wants. Now their new outfit is a return and doubling down on his punkness, an increased comfort with displaying both the damage and strength of their body, and the incorporation of elements from two of his most beloved people: Fearne and FCG.

The choices are just so juicy.

Gorgug was so important in this battle but not bc he did a shit ton of damage but just bc he did not stay down, Porter wasted soooo many attacks on putting him down again and again but guess what oh he's down? Relentless endurance. Oh down again? Kristen will heal him. Down again? Healing word from squeem. Down again? Nat 20 on a death save

And Porter hates him so much, he absolutely cannot take this student having been right about his stupid multiclass, he just really really wants to kill him when like. Mechanically? Maybe should've focused some more on Adaine and her brain worm

And then when Adaine does use the brain worm it only works because Gorgug is conscious, Porter spends the entire time trying to kill Gorgug and the moment where it matters, the moment Gorgug does have a crucial reaction that he couldn't do if he was down, he's in fact awake and can throw a flashbang in Porter's face

Porter tried to do one thing this entire battle and he couldn't even do that right
