Oh yeah they'd become good friends alright. She'd teach her how to woo the guys and even give her a little more sex appeal. Rise had so many plans for this plain looking blonde girl. It would've been rude to say it out loud so she kept her opinions to herself. 

However, even though she had other plans in store for this girl Rise truly did want to become friends with her. Yukiko and Chie weren't here so she might as well try to make friends with other girls who were around. They were all friendly, but just too plain for her taste. 

" Sorry if I was too forward about being friends but uh, I'm Rise! Rise Kujikawa and it's nice to meet you Yellow-san. "

Hopefully this could be the start of a beautiful girl to girl friendship. After this she would have someone other than her husband to lean on since it was always nice to have a girlfriend or two under your belt in case something went wrong in your life. Not to say that anything would...but just to be on the safe side, y'know?

Rise took her chances and captured the Viridian Healer in one of her bone crushing hugs. Who could blame her? It's not everyday that you get to meet someone new. Or even e this forward about something without getting cursed out.

“…..Huh?” The blonde said. What just happened? Amber hues did nothing but stare at the brightly colored haired person in response for a few moments, before she blurted out another answer.

“S-Sure! That sounds great!” Yellow said, not really sure what she was getting herself into. Yellow was always happy and excited to make new friends, even though this approach was something she’s never experience before….

Smiling at the girl, she tilted her head to the side, voicing her question.

“Um….who are you anyway? My name is Yellow de Viridian Grove!” Yellow wasn’t too sure how this girl knew or found her (maybe the pinkette she had run into earlier mentioned her to Rise? Who knew. Not her that was for sure!), but the fact that she had taken the first step towards forging a friendship with The Healer was something she appreciated very much. The Viridian native was usually too shy to do that, having to gather up much courage to voice her desires of friendships with others. once she did, though, they turned out great!

“I hope we can become good friends!”

It seemed like the more deeper into the conversation they got, Rise trusted him just a little bit more than she had before. She decided against teasing him just for the lulz her entertainment. Her mind had changed completely, they'd just work up to that. For once, maybe she could try being like a wife to him and not some strip teasing whore. Her mind was made up on this for sure now. Besides, it's not like Krom was like any other guy she'd met. He wasn't lusting after her and he didn't really seem eager for that type of thing. He was a gentleman and maybe a gentleman was what she needed. 

She quickly pulled her hand away after he kissed it. What was wrong with her? She'd usually eat stuff like this right on up and go along with it. It was different this time though...but it did make her happy to hear him say she could lean on him a well. She'd need to in the future.

" Thank you. I'm..sure I won't need help with the cooking though! Say uh..do you want to go out later? Maybe do some sight-seeing or something? "

{ If only life was that easy for Krom. For the most part, he mostly roamed around the marketplace and chatted with the citizens as well. Some girls were interested in him but he had no idea if they were interested in his status or his actual personality. He hoped Rise preferred the latter of the two. Hopefully. He gave her a smile and a nod, brushing a few strands of her bangs from her eyes gently. }

As to you, Rise. I’m here for you to lean on as well. { He picked her hand up and gave it a gentle kiss again before setting it back down. Blinking, he remembered that there would probably be only one bed. He didn’t mind sharing it. They were married after all. And the cooking situation too… }

Well, if you need any help with the cooking I can always offer a hand. Frederick, my personal knight, taught me a few tricks about the subject. { He was average - he could make an edible meal. He kind of wished his personal knight was around. }

It was always nice to try to help people find their way around here since it could be quite confusing. Civ. 9 wasn't exactly somewhere you could get lost in, but if you weren't familiar with the area Rise guessed it was pretty easy. This girl was the perfect example to showcase this. She looked a little clumsy anyways so helping her would be the best thing in stead of leaving her to struggle by herself.

" Just for today I'll be your guide Kobato-san. So I suggest you try to remember! We might not run into each other again and everyone might not be so friendly. "

Rise then pointed straight and began walking, looking back at the girl to make sure she was trotting behind her. For her sake, she hoped she would remember the exact building. It's not cool to somehow end up somewhere else where you weren't supposed to be and it felt very uncomfortable. It could happen to her if he didn't pay well enough attention. On their way to the apartment building they passed the different stores and eating places.

" This is where you'd come to buy things and the like! Try not to forget okay? "

And now she'd gone way off track acting as some type of tour guide. It's not like she minded of course but Kobato had only asked where she was supposed to be. Thank goodness it wasn't too far from here. In the distance Rise could already see the building.

" There it is! Come on, let's walk a little faster now. "

Soon they made their way to a tall building and stopped in front of it. 

" Impressive, right? Let's go on inside now and find your apartment. I can come with you if you'd like. "

Lost Again || Opening/Intro

Kobato took the girl’s hand gladly getting herself up onto her feet. She thing patted down her dress a little to get some of the dust off and then had that happy beaming smile on her face.

” Ah ! Right ! I’ll do my best to be paying more attention ! “, she said with a determined nod as she took a mental note of what to do now when she walks alone on the street. Though, even if she isn’t alone, she should still probably pay more attention shouldn’t she ?

” Ah ! My name is Kobato Hanato ! “, pleasure to bump into her ? well maybe it was a pleasure then to bump into people at times. ” It’s um, a pleasure to bump into you also ! “.

Was she lost ? Most definitely.

But her goal to get to a place wasn’t really there, it would be nice to know where the buildings where at so that she knew where they were located. But she didn’t know where everything else was located at also. So , maybe she wanted to see everything ? But would probably have to start off with where she was staying at.

” Um ! “

” Well I am a little lost. I’m not sure where everything is at, like where I’m supposed to be staying at. “, she said with a slight smile.

” Ah … do you by chance know where I’m supposed to stay at ? “, she asked slightly tilting her head in question.

So being a prince wasn't all smiles and giggles and dancing with girls like she expected. Huh. Could've fooled her from all the TV shows she'd seen in her spare time. It was pretty obvious though from how he looked that being a prince had been hard or maybe challenging was the word. He didn't have to worry about it anymore though right? Even if he did..she'd try her best to lighten the load off of his back.

" Oh..well..if you ever need help with anything or just need a shoulder to lean on it's my job now so don't ever feel awkward with me. 'Kay? I'm here for you. "

And it was true. Whenever he needed her she'd be there for him since it was the right thing to do when you're somebody's wife. It was the least she could do for him.

" Oh! I bet you're wondering if I can cook or not. I can actually so you don't have to worry! Also, I hope you don't mind sleeping in the same bed as me. "

Lying between her teeth about her cooking probably wasn't the best idea but oh well. He'd have to find out for himself the hard way. She'd probably never be allowed to cook again after one bite.

{ He didn’t mind. It was obvious she enjoyed her job, even when she took the hiatus she still missed it. It was good to actually go to a job you liked! Krom has seen people who hated their jobs back in Iris so it was a nice change of pace to see someone talk about hoe much they liked it.

And then the question of being a prince came into mind. The male bit the inside of his cheek in thought before finally answering the girl. } It’s…. Interesting. It can be fun sometimes but it’s also hard work. Honestly, things were going rather slow because we’re such a peaceful country that nothing really bad happened to us…

But… Things changed in my country when my sister, our personal knight, and I found a mysterious person in the fields. { He paused, shaking his head with a soft smile. } Sorry, I’m rambling now. I guess you can say my line of work is hardwork. I want to make my people happy.

So the little blonde headed girl needed more girlfriends eh? Couldn't blame her, girls need to stick together in this place especially since they were all married. There could be meetings probably but not anytime soon and until then..it was nice just to make a couple friends to confide in or stay close to just in case you needed a little something.

Well it just so happened Rise took it upon herself that she'd become this girl's friend. She'd help her in more ways than one. They could have sleepovers sometimes and maybe she could teach her to do make-up. Y'know, just to look nice around her husband, but it's not like she didn't already have natural beauty. Thank god for natural beauty or else most chicks would be screwed in life.

Rise crossed her arms over her chest as she looked down at the much smaller girl, opening her mouth to speak.

" You. We're friends now. 'Kay? Kay. "

Maybe that was too straight forward? Oh well. She couldn't really say no to her anyways from how serious she looked. Poor Yellow, hopefully she wouldn't be scared of Rise.

Okay..truth be told a lot of women needed quite a bit of work done on their appearance because women were...supposed to care about stuff like that right? If you were a woman you were supposed to look girly and care about how you look towards the male population.

Though this didn't seem to be the case in Civilization 9. Oh no, it most definitely wasn't of concern to some women. They figured their husbands would like them for who they were which was..true, but that wasn't the case every time. What guy wants to come home to something ugly? Ugly was a mean way to put it but hey! Rise was being truthful and the truth hurts sadly.

Maybe there was something she could do..y'know try to help the less fortunate a little. It's nice to be charitable towards them. They up feeling happier and she liked putting a smile on a girl's face especially if it was because she made her look better. Now..mind you Rise wasn't really Queen Bee herself but don't let anyone tell her that or she'll kill you. Ah! That was when a idea popped up in her mind.

Makeovers!! She could take them shopping, she could do nails and even do their hair and make-up if they reeeaaally needed it! Time for the female population to shine and it'll be Rise Kujikawa helping to make everyone look just a little bit better.

" Hey!! First one over here gets a free makeover courtesy of yours truly! "

This would really be great for her unless someone took it the wrong way.

Ah! Talking about her career would be a good start on getting to know each other better and plus there would always be time in the future for other things to get taken care of. Rise just hoped Krom would be ready for it. She guessed coming home to your wife in a scantily clad bikini would be quite the sight to see.

" Well my life couldn't be more interesting than yours since you were a Prince and all, but I was an idol. I went by the name Risette. I starred in commercials, made music and had I not went on hiatus from it all I would've been in a movie! It was fun sure..but at the same time I didn't feel like I was being myself. "

And here she goes running off at the mouth about herself once again! Always hogging the spotlight all to herself when she doesn't mean to. Her life before had been a bit stressful she'd admit, but she enjoyed it while it lasted and you know until that bomb blew up then somehow she got here. True story.

{ jfc rise. He felt awkward calling her ‘beautiful’ or ‘attractive’ since they just met, so for now she will be known as ‘cute’ in his mind. He blushed when she gave him a compliment and he scratched his cheek, smiling softly. } Thank you, Rise. I’m glad you think so. Please, honorifics are not needed. We’re married after all.

{ That was so weird to say and he didn’t know why. It was a fact; they were married. Nothing wrong with that.

Krom began to think of what he could ask as she closed the distance a bit. Hmm, well she knew he was a prince so it would be right to ask what she did before coming here. }

If you don’t mind me asking, what did you do before starting your new life here? I can imagine you had a more interesting job than myself. { Krom what are you saying you are a prince. }

“ I-I’m so sorry! ” Rise turned her attention to the place from whence the voice came. It was a girl probably not too much older from herself crying on the ground. Oh boy..there was really only one of two things Rise could do now it was either

She knew it wasn't any of her business in the first place yet she felt the overwhelming need to help this girl well..the only reason being because she's crying of course and the people are starting to gather around her, namely men. Who knows what they'd do her? 

Taking her chances Rise hurried over to the place where the girl was, crouching down next to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. Rise took it upon herself to examine her, eyes falling to her shirt where her bra was clearly exposed and her bust was bigger than hers..she'd remember to be jealous over that later but for now they had to go. This was too public of a place to cry and there seemed to be some dirty perverts stalking around trying to catch a glimpse.

" You perverts better move if you know what's good for ya! This isn't some freak show or a free strip tease so get the hell away. "

Seemingly listening to her, the crowd which had gathered began disperse one by one, one leaving after the other. Thank god, she really didn't want to have to kick any of them where the sun didn't shine. She turned her attention once again back to the other. She sighed, standing up.

" Sorry you had to go through that stop crying though, 'kay? First things first though..we need to get you some clothes that aren't wet. Let's go to the clothing store, on me. "

Because the last thing Rise wanted was for some old pervert to push up on her that was her husband's thing to do of course since she was married now. So why not help her out?

01. a time anomaly

Mikuru herself was very distressed at the situation at hand. Perhaps, she could deal with the marriage part. She was used to being treated in a less than humane manner, even though Miss Suzumiya had long stopped doing such acts to her. That wouldn’t stop the boys of the Asahina Mikuru fan club, of course. Having to serve as a wife could not be much more different than serving as a shrine maiden, or a maid, or you know the various other things she had been for her adoring fans. Actually, doing those might have made her unworthy for her husband! Maybe he wouldn’t want to have her because she was so disgraceful! The very idea of that was to enough to make her cry. She didn’t want anyone, especially someone she was supposed to make happy, to be sad because of her actions. If it was her fault that someone suffered, oh, it would ruin her!

That was not the major problem, though. The problem was… this place. It shouldn’t exist, technically speaking. At no point in current time did it exist, and it wasn’t from a future far beyond hers. If the latter were true, the technology wouldn’t be so-not to be rude to its inventors but-primitive. Things like these were so far behind that she couldn’t be anywhere near her own origin. But yet it was beyond the time she had traveled to. It couldn’t be the same world, then, and though there were indeed alternate universes, she could not figure out the cause of this one. The first thought anyone in her position would have would of course be: Suzumiya Haruhi did it. But, this didn’t feel like Miss Suzumiya’s work, the world wasn’t hers. And Miss Suzumiya, along with the rest of the brigade, was nowhere to be found! She thought maybe, Miss Suzumiya did it to be with Kyon, to be forced into a marriage with him. But… this world shouldn’t exist. It wasn’t what she’d have wanted. But it wasn’t Nagato’s world either. The only other possibility would be someone from the opposite faction, if the other time travelers succeeded or if Sasaki changed time on her own. Both those theories seemed farfetched for her and she could barely wrap them around her head. Where was Koizumi when you needed him for the philosophical filler dialogue?!

Oh gosh, what was she going to do? She had no idea how to fix any of this. Never had she been trained for this! And even when things like this did happen, she didn’t fix them! All Mikuru Asahina could do was follow orders, that’s all they ever expected from her. All she ever needed to do was what she was told, and maybe look cute a little so she’d attract attention. She was barely good at that too. Kyon, Koizumi, Nagato… They were the ones who solved problems like this! Not her! But they weren’t here, she was alone, with not even Tsuruya to comfort her.

She had only just stepped out into the world that was Civilization 9. All these thoughts kept brewing and building inside her head. Mikuru couldn’t take it. It felt like a fear rising up from the ground to take root in her heart. Her eyes watered and she fell to the floor, like a somehow cute sack of potatoes. There was nothing she could do. She wouldn’t see her friends again, she’d completely messed up on her job, and she barely knew what time plane she was in. Although this was all out of her control, it felt to her as her own doing. It was her fault, she thought. The brunette couldn’t explain how very well, but she would take the blame no matter what.

“I-I’m so sorry!”

She cried out, too emotionally devastated to remember she was surrounded by others. If she had realized that, she just would have cried more though.

Her tears continued to increase, trailing down her face. The droplets of salty water began to add up on the white fabric of her shirt. Being the moe fanservice girl she is, Mikuru had the talent of unfortunately being exposed to things like this. Meaning her shirt’s wet and she’s totally showing the world her pink, lace bra. Was anything going to go her way today?

Cute..? Well that was good enough for now. In the future though it'd be nice if he admitted that she was a smokin' hot wife compared to most girls. She might not have been a woman yet but dammit she would get there someday!! Still..it bothered her though. Cute was kind of a sisterly like term right? Something guys told their sisters..oh god Rise get over yourself.

" I think you're really attractive, Krom-senpai.~ "

Coming on too strong? Maybe. The honorific wasn't even necessary but what the hell, it's not like she cared all too much. This was her husband right? She could do whatever she wanted to him whenever she wanted since there was a ring on her finger and his. All these thoughts were crossing through her mind as she slowly closed the distance by scooting closer to him.

" Is there anything you want to ask me by the way? "

{ He took off his boots, watching her explore the apartment as he only slightly looked around the living room. Like he said, it was cozy and big enough for the two of them. He wondered if Rise could cook. He knew how to thanks to Fredrick, but it wouldn’t be too bad to have two cooks in the house, just in case.

He watched her plop on the couch and he took a seat next to her, only to find himself blushing when she popped the question. Did he find her attractive? }

W-Well… Y-You’re… Cute? I-I mean…! { Tsuntsuntsun except not really. This was just a very embarrassing conversation and he gave one of those awkward coughs. Though, he wondered if she found him attractive. It wouldn’t be a fun relationship if she didn’t. }

I’m sorry. The question was very… blunt. I wasn’t well prepared for it. I think you’re cute. In looks and in personality. I can tell that you’ll have some surprises in store for me.

Oooh looks like someone new showed up man this place was just crawling with people unlike Inaba, which was very peaceful and quiet except for the occasional midnight channel broadcast which caused everyone to be in a bit of a panic. No biggie though. Wait why was she talking about things back home? That place was gone, G-O-N-E. Gone! She wouldn't have to worry about it anymore though she admitted she would miss her Grandma's tofu shop..just a bit though and she'd miss Senpai and the others too even though they sometimes got on her nerves. She'd miss her fans too even though they'd all been blown to pieces never to be seen again.

How depressing was this to talk about? How'd she even get on this topic in her thoughts? Oh that's right she was going to greet this guy in front of her. Was he short or was it just the shoes she was wearing? They did have a bit of a heel...either way she was sure she was a few inches taller than him. Now how to greet him..ah! She has an idea now.

She tip toed slowly from behind him until she was at a close enough distance and gave his shoulders a firm shake from behind. Best greeting ever Rise trying to scare people you don't even know it was the perfect way to make some new friends and have a little fun in the process. Hopefully he wouldn't be mad at her.

" Hey!! Sorry did I scare you maybe? My names Rise. You're new here huh? "

Cue her flashing that award winning smile that usually made guys fall before her. It wasn't cheating if she casually flirted riiiight? Not like she'd let anything happen anyway.

It was, really, another ordinary day as a (glorious) champion for Hibiki— except saying that was possibly the worst lie he could bring forth. He’d listened through the ground rules and the bewildering explanation clarifying the new way of life he’d be living, all of it hitting him straight on the face unexpectedly. Man, it was all too much and too hard to take in (like the cookies Kotone had deliberately baked a freakin’ decade ago. Some people didn’t have cooking in them.), he didn’t want to believe a word of it, like, were his friends alright? Jeez, what about his mom? Nuclear bombs? He thought those only happened in sci-fi and war movies… Did all those people die, or wh— Marrying a stranger? You mean like, what rich people supposedly do? Arranged marriages, cool! No, not cool.

Too many questions all at once began muddling up his head, too much, in need of an answer…

Then he zeroed in on the most important one of all.

Was his destined spouse hot? 

Like, he’d treat any lady like a lady, hot or not of his preference. But one can hope for the best…

Nevertheless, he casually kicked everything to the back of his head and focused on the big…ger stuff. He’d wonder off and look for his friends, possibly make some new ones, and check out the quality of this place’s chicks. And that’s exactly what he did. With hands stuffed in his pockets, he set his mind on jumping on the first person he came across and planned to bombard them with questions (best way to make a new friend). Didn’t matter if they were as lost as him, he’d just drag them with him and create a little group of people looking for the help desk.

She stepped in taking only one moment to scan the room, this was the living room they had just stepped into. To her left only by a few steps was the kitchen and in the way back she assumed was a bathroom and their bedroom. Quickly she slipped off her shoes placing them by the front door before running off to check the bedroom. One bed as she suspected.

Well played scientists, well played. Forcing them to sleep together since there was no other option and she really didn't mind it, plus she wouldn't allow him to take the couch since it wouldn't be right. She turned, walking back out into the living room taking a seat on the couch.

" I'll just be blunt about this. Do you find me attractive? "

Well it's not like she wasn't being serious about it when she asked, she was honestly curious.

{ His wife was seducing him and he had no idea what to do. This relationship was going perfectly. However, he could tell there was something being hinted in her words but was she teasing or was she being serious? He kind of hoped it was the former of the two. }

R-Right! Follow me. { He took the lead and after a few twists and turns, they ended up at the apartment complex. Krom then lead her up a few flight of stairs until they reached the door that read F-9. He opened it, peering inside before leading the young girl in. }

We’re here. It’s… Cozy. Not as big as the castle I resided in, but it’s the perfect size for us. { Humming to himself, he closed the door once Rise stepped in. Now what could they do… }

Yep. he was innocent, just like Senpai back home in Inaba..he probably didn't get what she was hinting at or maybe she just didn't get it. Aw well..she was only teasing him in the first place anyways because we all know Rise doesn't strip on the first date. 

" Well if you can get us back then let's go! I don't think I'll get hurt though since I have my big strong husband here to protect me. "

Kill him with love, teasing and compliments. It's the easiest way to get a guy to fall into the palm of your hands though senpai was different but fuck him. It'd be a piece of cake seducing him when the time came and there was something she wanted or needed and she was sure there would be plenty of things.

Tugging a bit harder on his arm she heaved out a sigh as she looked to her right.

" ...Well no use in trusting my directions so we'll follow yours. "

{ Yeah, Krom, what did you get yourself into?! This girl was gonna be too much for you! Luckily, he wasn’t the overly gentleman type or maybe he was? We just don’t know. Now they were lost and Krom sighed a bit. Ah well, he could easily get them back home - his sense of direction was pretty great.

And now his face was heating up when he felt her nuzzle against him. Oh man, he’s been friendzoned for so long that he had no idea what to do when a girl did this, for a few minutes before nodding his head. }

I can get us back easily. O-Of course if you want to stay here, alone with me, that would be alright too…! Though, we should head back before it gets too dark. I don’t want you to get hurt. { He smiled again, his face finally returning to its normal colour. }

He was too cute when he blushed, it was something she could probably take advantage of later by using her girlish charms on him. She could probably get anything and everything she wanted, just thinking about it made her eyes sparkle with delight. Too bad he was the gentleman type, probably wouldn't even flirt back with her.

Oh well, regardless though she kept walking steadily, passing a few civilians on the way but it seemed like the farther they walked, the lesser people they saw and then they came to what seemed like a dead end. Yikes..she'd gotten them lost. Hopefully they could find their way back and to their apartment building so they could get to know each other a little better. 

She moved closer to him, soon clinging onto his arm as she nuzzled her head against him.

" I think we're lost..maybe you could get us back somehow hm? Or we could stay here all by ourselves. That'd be nice too. "

{ Oh Krom, what did you get yourself into… It was like dealing with Mariabell, except Rise wasn’t rude like her, they were both just really… Spunky? That was the word, right? He was optimistic that this would work out, though. He blushed slightly and scratched his cheek, looking away slightly. }

W-Well, um, I treated them well but not like this… Since they were just close friends and all… { Plus lol friendzone 5ever. He followed her (since he had no choice) and smiled to himself.

Yeah, he could make this work. }

It shouldn’t be too hard to find. Though, I’m honestly surprised at how big this place really is, for it being the… End of the world or whatever. { It needed work obviously, but he was surprised at how many stable buildings were in this city. }

Ow..well maybe it wasn't such a smart idea to stand in the middle of the road to get a better look at her surroundings anyway. Still though, who ever had run into her should've paid attention to where they were walking in the first place. If it was a guy, she'd punch him and if it was a girl well they'd better be in for a good scolding from this red head because she wasn't playing any games here!

” I’m sorry ! I wasn’t really . . paying attention ! “ Eh..? That voice was so cute. She looked across from her and saw another girl in front of her, long hair and a bit of a doll-ish outfit. She seemed pretty adorable so Rise decided to skip out on the scolding she said she would give..plus she honestly probably didn't see where she was going after all so what was the point to do that?

Standing up and dusting herself off Rise extended her hand towards the girl to try to help her up it was the least she could do, can't go being mean to new people who get here! They were all in the same boat after all.

" It's fine! Just try to pay attention next time okay? I'm Rise. Kujikawa Rise by the way. Pleasure to bump into you. "

A nice gesture right? Might as well make a new friend whenever the time presented itself. It just so happened that time was right now. Not that it was a bad thing though. Friends were always good in her book.

Lost Again || Opening/Intro

Everything to her was so sudden. This nuclear explosion, being suddenly engaged to some stranger, it completely flew over her head.

The fact that she was finally able to have her new life, and she was once again with Ioryogi and Fujimoto, she was happy and grateful. She didn’t even remember this nuclear explosion happening, no matter how many times she tried to remember, it couldn’t come to her.
