heavenly body

hello,  welcome back, familiar silhouette that i’ve lived within, unrecognized -  bodied, again. i looked to the sky and found myself in me. they called it the worm moon, how apt -  the earth and i are thawing, perhaps into one. i can feel the imminent bloom, waiting, pushing up against my feet. they called it the worm moon, and i cried juicy tears of recognition, relief, the snowless winter is ending. i am among the stars, among the roots, nourished and alight. tonight, i spoke to saturn. he nudged me back to the summer of the bees, the first encounter with chocolate honeycombs. honeymooning with myself, drinking moon honey.  hello,  welcome back.
