It’s a fresh blog! This one here will be renamed (in some days, after tumblr stopped acting fucked up????) to i-m-the-pride-of-the-marines-moved and the first one still is im-the-pride-of-the-marines-old

Don’t be scared! I wiped my tumblr-dashboard completely because I just couldn’t deal otherwise with my crisis. This time I will only follow people who followed me first to keep my mind free from confusion, sorry.

(New blog already exists. Now I just have to unfollow every rp blog in my list D: Don’t be scared! I’m just doing this to make sure I then only follow blogs back who I am actually welcomed to interact with. This is more for my own ‘safety’.)

Also I can practice keeping my stuff cut-down if I start new, right? (Feel free to refer to old stuff so we can continue with it)

I am just hesitating on how to keep other characters I have followed so far but barely interacted with. I suppose I REALLY have to unfollow every rp blog and this time only ad blogs back that followed me first, so I may feel less terrified of interacting with them. (My mind is screaming in anxiety that people may believe I don’t like them which is not true at all!)

In case I make a new blog, don’t worry, it will basically be the exact same one as this here, only that I will change the old blogs name slightly so I can still go by the same url. (And this time, if you see something without tags, remind me to at least tag the person I rp with or the AU/timeline)

No issue. I prefer to ‘interact’ with those normal pet animals via toys instead. Toys mean I don’t have to touch them to show appreciation. Curiously enough I am not scared at all by pets like cows and sheep and goats.

It’s really just those kind of pets I was forced to interact with by someone. Same with horses. They tried to put me into horse-theapy but sadly horses are a nightmare to me so I went into full panick mode. Horse interaction is out of question. I prefer to tread those animals like dangerous wildlife and rather watch only.

@i-m-the-pride-of-the-marines Precicly I talk about cats and dogs and most ‘fluffy’ pets. I like interacting with them, but without touching them. Because if I touch I’m scared of being attacked.

Nudibranchs are adorable! In fact every animal can be adorable…….EVEN mosquitos. They LOOK cute after all.

You’re scared of them attacking you if you touch them? o.o I see.. well personally, I think this is why it’s helpful to learn their body language, so you’ll know if they’re uncomfortable or not. But I guess I’m also biased because I own a cat and she’s a huge cuddle-bug.

And yes, nudibranchs are amazing! They’re so cute and small and colorful! Moths are also adorable <3

ACTUALLY the fear sticks with me despite knowing when they express happiness or annoyance. I suppose I am just scared cause my friends back as a child forced me to interact with their pets even when the pet did NOT like it, and I was terrified of it. And this fear of ‘regular pets’ quite stuck with me. :(

Awww....Ned gently took the happy bear in his arms. He put the cigarette aside to make sure he wouldn’t accidently burn the toy’s fur, and just...took the Teddy under the arms, lifting him in front of himself. How I have missed you..........you’ve been sitting on the shelf all those years and still no doubt you thought I had forgotten about you, but no, I always loved you the same as I did right now. Snif........the grown man couldn’t hold back anymore. Tightly pressing thestuffed animal against his chest, he burried his nose in the soft fur. The smell, the teddy’s smell barely lost any of his scent over the years. Of course he would start to take in more and more different memories from the different places he’d be taken too, but he still was undenieable the same gentle bear and friend he always was. The Teddy’s love was so intense, Ned barely ever wanted to let go of him ever again, but then......what would the little child do without you? No, you had to stay by his side.

“No, he......he wants to stay with you......right?” Ned put his ear close to the bear, gently pressing his back to which the bear replied with a happy noise.

“You heard him. He won’t leave your side.” The Teddy bear ‘nodded’. He loved little Ned way to much. “And you don’t want your Teddy to feel scared without you, right? I am just a stranger. But friends like those should belong together.” Ned wanted to return the bear to his child self. It....it would break his heart to seperate them two, no matter how weird it may sound, since the bear was of course aware they two were the same person. He was a clever bear after all!

The ghost sat down once again. How long had he already been here in this long ago place and time? If Jimbo was missing him back in hell? It’s not like they were having all the time in the world. He could as well still stay a little more with his past self. But then, the more he interveened the more could be ruined?! Who knew. Maybe he wouldn’t even see any of the consequences his journey back in time had. Maybe the many-worlds theory was right and with each happening a new branch was created, running in an endless row of parallel times. Of course….it had to be this way. Or else playing with his past would have already have influence on his current self, creating a paradox, probably never causing him to travel and……what a mindfuck. All of sudden the thought of this child’s future he had tried to influence was giving him a nightmare! What if this Ned would never meet Jimbo? What if he followed his older self’s advice and restrained from everything that was giving him joy in life?! What kind of life would that be?! Hell damnit it! This had been the worsed idea he had ever had!

“Kid…..I….I have told you a lot today……and……now that I think of it…maybe it would be better if you just pretend I never talked to you. Forget all I have said. Nobody can tell you how to live your life.” He got up, his face full of remourse.

(I don’t know, I will never be able to relate to spiders being equal to creepy. For me they are just really cute plüschi creatures. I am more creeped out by touching mamals instead.)

In fact he seemed quite certain now that he could had as well not try to change anything at all........and for some reason this thought put a SMILE on Ned’s face.

“How could I say no to that?” Sitting back down he took the offer of having a drag as well. Forgetting for a moment that.....actually, he had no right to stay here forever. If he did, his ticket back to hell would expire and.........he would be stuck side by side with his younger self forever, or until he somehow found a way to contact the infernal ones to get him out of this mess.

(Not insects but apart from it, ESPECIALLY spiders! I keep several ones in my room cause they eat those mean mosquitos that are waiting for me to put out the lights)
