she doesn’t mean to snap at her friend; mina is the furthest thing from volatile but she’s been unnaturally moody lately and it’s not as easy for her to bite her tongue. eyes staring at the bottle of depression medication that the other girl holds in her hand, she grabs for it and squeezes her fingers around the plastic, feeling it press into her palm.

mina doesn’t want others to know of the struggles that she has to face on a daily basis. none of her friends know about the medication she needs to take regularly and she isn’t about to go into any kind of detail now either, instead shooting the other girl a glare and moving past her to return the pill bottle it’s place in her medicine cabinet, fingers trembling from the nervous, tight feeling in her chest.

“ it’s impolite to go through other people’s belongings, especially medicine. the next time you need pain killers, i’ll have to get them for you myself if you can’t respect my privacy. ”

the idea of going out for ice cream in the cold winter season is probably absurd to most people, but mina’s love for ice cream isn’t restricted to any particular season. although, she doesn’t like to go alone and it was yoongi who came to mind first when she wanted to invite a friend to join her. she’s been missing his company but she understands too that he’s busy, so when he agrees to join her that night she’s elated.

however, after stepping outside to join him in their travels to the closest market, she regrets leaving the warmth of her home, looking up to the male from behind her scarf and tucking her gloved hands into the pockets of her jacket. 

❝ .. maybe this wasn’t such a good idea to go out for ice cream after all. ❞ she confesses with a defeated sigh, shuffling closer to him and pouting under the thick fabric of her scarf. ❝ aish, but i really want a big cone of strawberry ice cream! ❞
