The refugio on the way up to Cerro Piltriquitron, El Bolson. With views of the Andes in the distance, and the town below it instantly turns into the perfect place for a total ‘fuck it’ beer to watch the sunset on the way down from a tedious hike to the summit (6120ft). I’ve been in this town almost a week now and that trek is something, I believe, everyone that comes to this town should try and experience.
The name ‘Cerro Piltriquitron’ means ‘hanging from the clouds’ in the Native Mapuche tongue.
