Hii!! I was wondering if I could request Floyd x reader headcannons about when they first wake up or how he is in the morning. Love ur work btw!! :)
Waking up with Floyd in the morning
He has morning voice
You know the deep gravelly voice
That one!!!
The things it does to you
I’ll get into that another day!
I like to think he wakes up semi early, but can 100% be convinced to stay in bed and snuggle
Coffee is a necessary morning drink
Will make breakfast for you but often you take it in turns
If he wakes up before you (very likely if you’re like me) he’ll just lie on his side and admire you with soft eyes
Day dreams slightly about potential plans for the future
(Likes imagining you in a wedding dress)
When he notices you stirring- that’s when he’ll start getting out of bed
He almost collapses from how cute you are when you reach out to him in your half asleep state
Will make himself a coffee and you a (drink of your choice)
Y’all finish your drinks in bed, sometimes in comfortable silence sometimes talking about the most unhinged stuff that happened in y’all’s dreams
After the drinks are finished, you both get up
You head into the kitchen and make breakfast together (sometimes he does it sometimes you do it- often you’ll make it together)
Now this is where arguments sometimes happen-
Because he knows rationally that you cannot have pancakes for breakfast every single day
But when you look at him with your happy smile, he can’t help but give in to your demands

From the time brozone was still a band. Y/n is Floyd's best friend, but they got married very young to eachother (y/n and Floyd also having kids if that's okay and if your uncomfortable with the married thing and the kid thing you can leave it out)
But Floyd just showing Branch old photo books and telling him and Poppy stories of how attracted Branch was to reader and treating her like a big sister. Even better if he still does

The wedding was so sweet
He 100% cried
You both decided to get married after the band broke up- you’d been dating in secret so his brothers wouldn’t tear him- also because it might kill their image
You knew that you loved each other so you decided it didn’t matter if you got married young
I’d like to think he turned up at your pod on the night of the Brozone split up
A ring shakily held in his hand
Asks you to marry him and leave with him
You obviously agree- you end up getting married in Rock City (you also had your honeymoon there)
So all the photo books are full of your journeys
The first one Floyd showed Branch was full of your secret date photos
Your first date, you drinking a milkshake with two straws- the writing on the bottom of that photo says
“I thought we were gonna share- but she wanted to prove herself worthy”
That was obviously written by Floyd
One of branch’s favorites is a photo in a selfie style that showed Floyd smiling at you who was resting on his shoulder and branch asleep in your arms
The note on the bottom of that one simply says “our first ‘I love you’s’ in his handwriting with a heart drawn by you
There’s alot of photos of you that Floyd took of you and Branch
“She was there for my first steps?”
“Yeah, John Dory was so jealous when you walked to her not him”
The second one documents your engagement journey
Campfire photos, photos of you pranking each-other
Floyd points out his favorite which is you asleep on a camping bed in the middle of a lake
The writing was in your handwriting this time and simply said “watch your back Angel”
The third is full of wedding photos
These were professional photos- it was a really small wedding but you and Floyd agreed you wanted to do it sooner rather than later
He’s got another photo book that’s just full of wallet sized photos (he couldn’t decide which one was his favorite)

Despite how traumatic the situation was he likes to look back on that moment like

His brothers tease him for melting every time you start to hum something
I reckon that you’d have panic attacks over what might’ve happened if you didn’t stall for time
His completely crystallised see through body still very fresh in your mind
You end up going to therapy
As do all of the brothers for a bit of family therapy
It does everyone good and y’all start to slowly fade back into a normal routine
Viva and Clay head back to Putt Putt village so that they can start digging a tunnel from them to Pop Village so it’s easier to travel
JD let’s all the trollings play with Rhonda
Bruce heads back to Vaycay Island to see his wife after making you and Floyd promise to come visit
(Bruce also hints to Floyd that he’s down to help him plan a proposal if he needs help)
You and Floyd move into a pod together just outside of pop village so you’re close enough for people to visit but not too close

You’re kinda right about the enemy’s to lovers except-!
I reckon it would be frenemys
You’ve made it clear that you wanna be his friend, he just struggles to separate normal speaking from sarcasm sometimes
So if you ever say anything slightly sarcastic, remember to throw in a wink to make it obvious
I wanna say you’re also a performer, maybe you open for Brozone a few times, maybe they open for you?!
Either way the more he sees you and gets to know you, the more used to your character he gets
One time he asked you why you seem so different on the stage
You explain to him that you have a few alter egos that help you move on from your traumatic past
He respects that and suddenly you’re friends to lovers
He 100% becomes your biggest fan super quick after getting to know some of the meanings behind your songs

He’s so prepared for this
It’s been on the family calendar for MONTHS!
He likes being prepared for this stuff-
He’s already let everyone on the island know that the restaurant is gonna be closed
Ok so
Bruce is a Beach BabeTm
Even though you’re married you have to beat the ladies off with a stick (mainly tourists- everyone that lives on the island knows you’re together)
Since y’all are taking your kids you bring a lot of stuff to help keep them occupied
Family sandcastle building
Plays with his kids but also sets down rules about where they can go on the beach without him
Sends them off with water wings and heads over to you
You need help with sunscreen? HES THERE
The nice guy who warms the sunscreen up before hand
Likes to chill with you, cuddling on the beach looking at his kids and admiring you as you read your book out loud to him
When you both decide to go swimming with your kids he’s more than happy to help you wade into the cold water
By that I mean he will pick your ass up and head into the water with the full intent to drop you
The kids encourage this fully
What Bruce doesn’t take into account is how sexy amazing you look in your swimming attire dripping with water
You take his stunned moment to dive down and pull his feet from under him
Then the kids pick a side, they’re either with mum or dad
And then it’s a SPLASH WAR
Bruce has the upper hand BUT you make a great distraction
