Half double crochet is my favorite stitch. You can make so many fun textures with it. Here I’m using it to make a spiral pattern as a planter liner for underneath my pilea. Note: I randomized where the increases land in each round to make sure the shape is more circular than hexagonal (or nonagonal in this case, as there are nine increases per round). #crochet #diy #ravelry https://www.instagram.com/p/ClmVDw7pFv7/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
