I just realized I have a thing about couples having tragic and unhinged Greek/Roman myths as references
And even Corintheus is perfect with Pygmalion and Galatea story and numbers of fanfic that speak for itself
If I have a nickel for every time Greek/Roman myths were dropped as references for my OTP I'd have two (even three) nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
