Oh yeah, here’s something that I made a while ago that any DM fans may find fun: a tier list template for Dead Milkmen albums! It’s only the ten studio albums, but I may do an expanded version with more EPs, singles, and compilations eventually.

For those who may not be aware, Joe Jack Talcum’s website hosts a bootleg-of-the-month, consisting mostly of live shows and unreleased tracks from The Dead Milkmen and Joe’s other projects (Butterfly Joe, Touch Me Zoo, The Low Budgets, etc.).

It’s been ongoing since 2005, so if you’re interested, there’s a lot to dig through.

There’s been a live cover of Astro Zombies that the Dead Milkmen did that has been floating around the internet for years. There is also this 4-track version that they did that might not be as widely circulated. I can’t find the notes from the tape that this came from right now, but if I remember correctly, this was recorded on their tour bus during the Metaphysical Graffiti tour.

And that’s it for tonight. If I can keep motivated, I’ll have a lot more from where this came from.

LOSSLESS DEAD MILKMEN SHOWS!

I’m in the process of uploading a bunch of lossless milkmen shows that I have on my harddrive. Once I have them all uploaded, I’ll be posting them to this really rad facebook group. Here are the shows that I have uploaded so far:

Dead Milkmen - 1991.02.19 Markthalle Hamburg, Germany

These shows are in the .flac lossless format. I recommend using foobar2000 to play flac. VLC should also work. A program such as winrar will be needed to extract the files from the .rar file.
