Dear Past Me,

I'd ask how have you been, but I know for a fact you never truly are OK. Even now, you're faltering quite a bit. Finding yourself in a place you can't even leave is somewhat depressing, but somewhat calming. I cannot go back to that place I used to call home, even if guilt decides to eat me alive. From that, I am saved.

Besides, there are many good faces in this manor. I'm eager to meet folk who have yet to know of my crimes. In a way though, I'm comforted by the fact I know eventually I shall know theirs. No one in this place is a saint, after all. Given what I've seen what goes on in that manor mentioned in that letter...

Bell and I have been there for some time now.

If you're wondering about her, Bell does lock herself up a lot still. I try to get her out of her room to talk to the others, but she suffers from that horrible anxiety. Bell and I are two peas in a pod is what I'm saying.

Now, if only she'd stop having those nightmares about those hunters...

Dear Past Me,

I'm not sure if you'd be proud or not of my latest predicament. I've escaped that nest so carefully withering away to just a cage that has officially clipped my wings. Each time I try to leave this place, I wind up back at the front gate. Is there no leaving?

The only good news is that mother is no longer around to prevent me from flying... but is it truly any good news to hear of a bird escaping it's home when it never learned how to fly? That each attempt to break free now only leaves it plummeting to the ground and pale hands picking up the pathetic fowl, placing her back into that elegant but deadly cage...

Fear is a powerful enemy of freedom, but I'm certain you know that.

Cherish that boy you have just met- a bond that goes beyond time itself. He will guide you towards this freedom you seek. Differences may set you two both apart, but they may just be what brings you together to the family you truly seek.

Hey for those that don’t know, I help run a discord server for idv (mainly for ocs but we allow anyone to join). I made this invite that shall be available for 1 day

We have channels for gaming, for creative people, for help with designing ocs, and since the anniversary is coming up we’re thinking about doing another collab.

You can get custom roles

You can even be invited to the dark side (18+ only) where the cool adults cry about adult problems

You can cause arson as well, but I shall look the other way.

How great it must be to be you. You, who shines in the spotlight brighter than all else and approach everything with confidence. You always had a much easier time to befriend other people...

You yell at mother how you are not like me. You compare yourself to me- funny thing is, I do the same thing. You can never be me and I can never be you.

There is some bliss in that. However, I hate it... you have a much easier time working with others and lovers come flocking to you so often that every year it seems you had a new lover.

Yet when they see me, they shy away. They talk about me behind my back, spreading rumors. They poke fun at me for how I look and while you chuckle at all the love letters you've gotten... people have been dared to ask me out.

Welcome to the manor! How do you guys work exactly in matches, anyways?

It must be hectic, in any case.

B: To put it simply, only one of us is "active" during a match at a time. By reverting or reversing a pocket watch... we're allowed to switch between each other.

B: I am what is considered a decoder and Jonathan is a rescuer. Depending on which way the clock marches on determines what action we take.

J: Bell usually starts off the match and I hang behind in an... odd world. When the clock switches, so do our places.

J: If I remember right... there's a hunter with a similar kind of deal... An instance where we both exist and not exist at the same time.

B: The place where we go when switched out is the very same as the map itself. Our bodies move in the same way the current leader's does. It can... be kinda terrifying sometimes.

J: So if I walk up to a cipher, Bell has no choice but to do the same action in the other world. If she gets chaired, then so do I in the other world... we still see the hunters and survivors in there.

J: Their appearances, though... they become distorted sometimes...

TWO OF A KIND

The Twins both carry around a pocket watch that allows them to switch between each other. When the clock is moving clockwise, Bell is in charge. When the clock is moving counter-clockwise, Jonathan is in charge. The twins both have their own separate personalities and will function differently in game.

The Twins cannot change when injured or during tide turner's "invincibility" window.

When changing, debuffs and buffs will roll over to the other twin.

After switching, there will be a 15 second cooldown before they can switch again. There will also be a "Dizzy" debuff that will effect all movement and interaction by 3% for 3 seconds.

Bell will always assume control first thing in the match.

CLOCKWISE

Bell is well knowledge of machinery and has an above average decoding speed. She excel in decoding ciphers and will get them done at least 15% faster. However, her hands tremble out of fear when attempting to recuse, so Bell's rescue speed is decreased by 7%.

COUNTER-CLOCKWISE

Jonathan loves danger, and he isn't afraid of some mean old hunter. His rescue speed is increased by 7%. However, he is easily distracted and cannot focus on decoding. His decoding speed is decreased by 15%.
