hi sorry but do you also die a little thinking that every time catra told adora 'this is NOT because i like you', she was actually acutely aware that she's been in love with her since they were like 10 and trying to sweep it under the rug, or turn it into a joke. and every time adora laughed and teased her for it, secretly she could feel her chest fill with warmth, and had to remind herself that they're just messing around and that catra can't possibly mean it like that.

One my favorite things about 02x09 is how Harley consistently kept putting Ivy’s feelings first and doesn’t purposely go out of her way to try to pursue anything with her despite what she feels. Even though on the outside you can visably tell that it bothers Harley when Ivy says what they did was a mistake or it shouldn’t have happened because obviously it meant something to her. But she’s willing to pretend like it never happened just to make Ivy more comfortable. And the second time they have sex, the brief sad look on her face before she gets up and runs out the room because she knows what’s coming but she comes back and comforts her despite the frustration I’m sure she must feel. And then without being pushy about it she lays her cards on the table, tells her how she feels, and leaves it up to her to decide what to do next.
