Shawarma is a popular non vegetarian side dish in the Middle East, which is fast catching up in the rest of the world. It is a very popular snack among Saudi and Arab population and also among foreigners. There are three different styles of shawarmas in Saudi Arabia: Lebanese, Turkish, and Yemeni style. The reason behind opening s branch specifically in the city, Riyadh is that Riyadh is one of the most popular cities is Saudi Arabia and it is also known as a popular tourist place in Saudi Arabia but it lacks in shawarma stores. So, I decided to open one of the branches in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia because it has more chances of doing good business and growing into a popular family restaurant due to less competition from other restaurants in that city. The timing will be slightly different in Saudi Arabia compared to the current location because things work differently in that country. Not many restaurants are open during day time in Saudi Arabia; you will usually find shawarma joints open during night time. This is why we have decided to keep our store open during most of day time and night time to gain competitive advantage over other possible competitors. The working hours for this location will be 2:00 pm to 6:00 am 2-3with small breaks in the middle for prayers since it is a Muslim country. The timing of the breaks will vary according to the timing of the prayers.

NEW BRANCH IN ISTANBUL, TURKEY
Good news for the people living in Turkey! We have decided that one of our two new locations will be situated in the beautiful city, Istanbul!
Here is why we chose this place:
If We expand Ibrahim BBQ globally, we would definitely want to open up one of the locations in Istanbul, Turkey. The reason behind this decision is that shawarma actually originated in Turkey and is very popular among the Turkish people. The main dish served at Ibrahim BBQ is shawarma which is a very natural dish served in turkey and the Turkish population enjoys it as a snack on daily basis. We want to open a branch specifically in Istanbul because it is a famous tourist place and attracts tourist from all over the globe. Since Istanbul is known for its food, all the tourists would definitely want to try their signature dish, shawarma, when they come to visit. This guarantees doing good business there and does not involve a lot of risk. The timing of this location will also be different form the current location. Our restaurant will be open from 8:00 am to 12 am. It will not stay open until 5:00 am like the Scarborough location since businesses don’t really run 24/7 in turkey like they do in Canada so there is no point of staying open late. But in the morning, we will start early because businesses usually at around 8:00 am in turkey which is when we will potentially start getting customers.
