hello @corvesfelines! I had the honor of being the pitch hitter for you for the @dtblrsecretsanta! please accept these soft dreamnappies at the beach :)
“i love observing how moms, who are really happy to be moms, treat their children. like wow you lucky duckling, this woman loves you more than air. she’s been waiting for you. you’re everything to her. you’re going to have a great time on earth with her.”
Maybe twt fandom wouldn't be so dead if they didn't bully the fan artists and fic writers for thinking out of the box -huffy pouts-
so glad for the freedom of tumblr and the etiquette built here over the years that emphasizes 'stay in ur lane' and 'trying to police fandom just gets a pillow put over ur face while the rest of us carry on'
To all the new fic writers / people not used to advertising their fic on tumblr:
Please do not simply copy-paste a link to your fic in a new post! Like so:
It gives you a wonky layout that — more importantly — doesn’t actually give the reader the information they might need in order to decide whether your fic is right for them. Notice the weird indentations of the text and how the only info I’m giving is my ao3 handle, the title of the fic, and the fandom.
Please consider using the AO3 “share” button!
This will format a full post with all the metadata you included on ao3 anyway:
Alternatively, you can format your own post, which is what I usually do: Take a moment to think about what info you usually use to decide on a fic: is it the rating, the word count, the additional tags, the summary? Consider including at least these bits in your tumblr post.
