I’ll Be There review:
the song is good, nothing bad about it actually. but it’s just a little too generic in my opinion, i sometimes do really love a generic song, but for some reason i can really hate or really love those. and this one falls right in the middle. it’s a pleasant song to listen to (and he has an amazing voice) but nothing much more than that
Rockstar review:
this song is way more funky and energetic. overall a more interesting song but also more points that don’t really speak to me. overall a similar ranking as I’ll Be There but would call it a better song. i for some reason just don’t care about it that much

the use of “babygirl” in Up To You is scary but if you ignore it the song is pretty good

there is basically no instrumental, there’s only a occasional beat which would work for 20 seconds if there was an amazing rap over that beat. but this entire song is the same beat with almost no other instrumental sounds and it lacks the good rap POSSE UP! did have sometimes. obviously this isn’t a serious song, but this is my serious review lmao

POSSE UP! has some cunty parts and those parts are the whole reason that song even has a rating. thank you.

Howl review:
i like it, it’s different from what i generally like but this type of songs really showcase her amazing voice. the concept fits chuu, but it’s not my favourite to listen to. the chorus is very energetic in contrast to some of the verses which i like. i think it’s definitely a song that i will like more as i listen to it more.
extra comment:
after listening to this whole album in one go, i felt this entire album will probably grow on me. first listen none of the songs really spoke to me, but now i enjoy the songs much more already. it makes me happy chuu put out such a pretty album, and hope she will have a nice promotion period

Off The Record review:
a very cute song. nothing wrong with it, i would probably skip it quite some times because it is a song you have to be in the mood for, but i would listen to it for sure! i think this is a song that i would forget how much i like it
Baddie review:
for sure my least favourite ive titletrack, but that doesn’t stop it from being a bop. i feel like this is a grower or it just a song i would feel neutral about in the future. definitely don’t dislike it but i might actually prefer Off The Record? not for the “real titletrack” because Baddie is way better to promote with, but just for listening to it. Baddie is very catchy tho so that’s a pro.
Either Way review:
a kinda slow and not interesting song, but it’s still good. for an emotional song there is still quite some instrumental going on which makes it more interesting than some other emotional songs. but still not quite up there with the other songs in the album
extra comment:
none of these songs make me go crazy, but non of them are bad either. very solid album, but i wish at least one song was worth a higher rating

Chasing That Feeling review:
the (pre-chorus and) chorus give nostalgic vibes and that makes me really like that part of the song. the verses are slightly boring but when the instrumental for the pre-chorus comes in it starts slapping for sure, just wish the chorus was a bit longer (the first one), because when it goes back to the verses i’m kinda disappointed :( previous reviews the chorus ruined the song and in this song the chorus makes the song. the instrumentals are kinda retro vibes and it’s really enjoyable, but the song is not entertaining enough to give a high score overall

with txt’s music i notice i like it a lot more when i’m really into my txt phase, this is the same for their older music. so i feel like if i was in my txt phase right now i would’ve maybe rated some songs higher, but i guess that makes this a objective review lol, but im sad because i want them to release something i go crazy about again 😪

i really like their voices and the speed of the song. but the instrumental was kinda disappointing and mainly the chorus felt kinda off. the bridge is probably the best part of the song, but the rest is just too messily loud which i do not enjoy

the verses are always so cunty but the chorus just kinda makes it boring😭 like their voices hit, the instrumentals😩 but the chorus just feels a little repetitive and scream-y. and i get that’s their thing, so im not saying they should stop having a sound like this, but it /is/ the reason why i don’t really enjoy it.

i actually hoped YOUNI-BIRTH was the titletrack because i have more to say about that lol. i like the pre-chorus but something about the chorus makes me like it a little bit less. they do have a very satisfying rap which i very much appreciate. instrumentals are nice but i think somehow the chorus sounds a little bland? which is weird because it’s a pretty full chorus, so maybe it’s just not what i hoped for the chorus.
EVERYBODY (feat. DJ Juice) review:
the entire song is pretty good, but the once again doesn’t satisfy me considering how the rest of the song sounds💔 also i hate the dance break (i think that is what it is) but i always hate dance breaks so that’s whatever. but besides it genuinely is a fine song, it’s funky and i like that

Invincible review:
the best part of Invincible for me is the “forever” part in the chorus, no clue why but it makes me wanna cry in a good way. i love it when songs have so many different things going on i get overwhelmed and this is just that 🙏🏻 like yes please give me no brain space to think! everyone’s voices were kinda similar because of the sound of the song, which is compensated by the bsides but i wanted to hear the new members sing for the first time but i felt like i still don’t know how they sound😭 but that’s honestly nothing against the song itself. it ate, slapped and many other good things
