You can't always get what you want.They've said it and sung it so many times too -it's everywhere,it's  ubiquitous. So why do we still hurt ? And why do they say it's not ok to be a cynic? Look at Dr.House- didn't work out so bad for him, did it? Sure,he lost a limb learning the truth- but that man has hurt so much ,he has the perfect formula of how not to hurt anymore.And I'm going to use it.    Hypocrisy , bursting forth from every aspect of life; the gashes and stabs from fair weather friends, capricious companions. Rich bounders staying rich by being cheap. People serenading and frolicking ,even, around you when it's profitable and vanishing when favors need to be returned. Sick fascinations with beauty,obsessions with appearances.Money buying you what it shouldn't.You don't need to look for a reason-there always will be something right around you. Which is why you need a shield.Which is why you need Dr. House.   Is the truth such a difficult thing? Dr House always looked for the truth- his whole life was about the truth! He couldn't stomach hypocrisy of any sort. Life lessons from Dr. House- How not to hurt, How to do your thing and not give a damn. House - the most loyal, bold and truest truth seeker I've ever known.Not a champion, not a crusader-just a real man.Perhaps there was a time when I felt so terribly and hopelessly sad that the truest person I ever knew didn't even exist. But well, he taught me not to hurt. No alarms, no surprises. House is not just another series- it's a masterpiece. Each episode is as true as it is beautiful and as telling as life itself. And I'm not bitter,I'm not resigned-I'm just alive and I know that nothing matters.That's liberating.I may forget and have to relearn-but that's ok too. Everybody lies,Everybody dies.
