“I am always up for a good contest- its been awhile since I’ve actually tried my hand against anyone in anything really.”
Do you believe in things like the Four Horsemen?
“Yes, they’re wonderful sentient beings. Really good at golf and tennis.”

“You seem dead, but you’re not.”
“You are….different.” Cecil muttered, wondering if this creature was dead or not. He really could not tell right off hand- which was unusually odd.

“You aren’t human.” he replied, frowning.
“You….are one of those kind.” Carlos noted, rubbing at his nose which was running in a very annoying manner.

“The title is who you are, its who we all are- or, not technically.” the destructive being hummed. “Theres something really exciting gonna happen, thats why I’m here, someones going to fight.”
“You know I’ve never liked the transition, or that title for that matter.”  Cecil sighed in turn, pinching the bridge of his nose.  “What do you want?”

“What? Are we using mortal time now? It still has not been long, Death. Don’t be like that.” Kevin frowned, crossing his arms.

“He’s some pest.” quite like this person seemed to be already. Cecil was ready to leave, but he felt he needed to deal with this guy who looked so much like Kevin did, it was important.
Cecil spared him no words after that, despite him having the same name as War. He moved over to the body, staring calmly before lifting the soul from it and whispering a few comforting words before sending it off to wherever it would go. “You just look like someone I….know.”

“Science is important, its a challenge and I love it.” he explained, still looking around curiously.
“It is just different, it does not follow the norms of the rest of Creation. Creatures that usually do not interact with humans flock here- and the dead don’t always die.”
“-but of course we’re selfish. Should other creatures talk, I’m sure they’d inquire about their own kind as well, no~?” Fingers came to an abrupt halt, that pen remaining in his firm grasp.
“Though it seems that I’m not losing my mind in that this place itself is rather.. odd, to put it politely.”

“Other creatures can talk, just not in the fancy way you do. You all are just blind to the inner mechanisms of other creatures- how they mate, live, interact, fall ill, die.”
“No, this place has always been odd, I do not enjoy coming here.” the being replied, looking around.

“Its what we were created to do, and its all creatures, not just mankind. Mankind is selfish like that, always seeing it about themselves.”
Pestilence stared at the pen in silence for a moment before returning his gaze to the male in front of him. “This place is odd, even for my kind. There are many creatures that flock here, its one of Creations more different points for sure.”
“How intriguing,” Carlos continued, looking the other over as before. “You’re interesting simply because you’re not human - or at least, you hardly possess the criteria for a living being. Can’t say I’ve enjoyed another of your kind~”

“You can’t enjoy our kind, we aren’t things that are enjoyed. If anything you suffer our kind.” he replied, as plain as could be. He gripped his arm as it twitched again, sighing softly. It did not hurt, it was just how his body worked, taking on the appearance of the illnesses.

“Time is measured differently by us, and there are four of us. Creation made us to....keep a balance.”
More like to bring about the end of everything and kill a few humans in the stretch of time between their existence and the end. “I do not see what is interesting you so much though.”
“So there’s more of you-” he uttered, dropping his folded arms. Instead, he slipped them into his pockets, unable to help but briefly rock back against his heels.
“Once I think I’ve seen everything in this hellhole, I’m always proven wrong all over again~”

Well, how do you guys not get bored, doing variations of the same thing since Creation's beginning? Especially you, Famine. The means of War and Pestilence evolve and so Death also evolves, but Famine is pretty stagnant. I suppose that's what I meant.
“Its the natural order, its just what I do. Also I am going to correct you- Death never evolves. Death is always Death, collecting lives and sending them onwards. Yes War and Pestilence evolve- each creative different chaos, but I evolve in a way too. Just not as noticeable. Species die and that creates more Famine, it just happens. I’m not bored with it because its how I exist, its why I exist.” Dana explained, shrugging.

“There are more of us, yes, but not a lot in your terms. In our terms there are more than enough.”
He had no idea what the male was talking about, and he didn’t see it as important. He had already done his job here and should have moved on- but the conversation was interesting him.
“I admit, I’m unsure of how it came to be as well,” Carlos added, his fingers coming to a halt.
“-what’s this about Cecil? Is he also a, ah, being similar to yourself?”
