No, it’s totally ok to ask! In fact, I’m actually flattered that you’ve come to me out of all the people you could ask.
I’m no expert on things like this, and when I write things down, some stuff gets confusing. But I’ll try to break down exactly what I do before and during the stages of a roleplay blog.
So first, I’ll pick a muse (obviously) that I think I can write alright and enjoy in that certain series. From there, I’ll try to get any and all material absorbed so that I have a better understand of my character. After all that, I’ll start writing little snip-its in a google doc to get some practice.
If you find that you’re enjoying writing the muse, and you want to share him to the world. Then you’re next step is a blog! (I’ll skip the actual creating a tumblr account.) You’ll want to come up with an eye catching and memorable username for your blog. That way you’ll be unique, and it’ll be easier to pick you out from other rp blogs.
Graphics and icons aren’t really too important. Just pick out a clean theme that’s easy to see, and pick up any pre-made icons you can. Over time and experience, you’ll figure out more complex graphical and icon things. But for now, just stick to the bare minimum since you’re here to write. I’m not sure about other fandoms, but the DR fandom is very welcoming regardless of how pretty your blog is.
Just make sure to have proper rules, an about, and verses page… This way all your followers will be able to get anything they need without having to directly message you. I would also suggest lining up some tags for ic and ooc posts, etc.
That’s all I can really think of at the moment. Just remember to try your best in your writing, and people will surely notice you.

I’m thinking of maybe redoing all of my blogs...
Maybe with everything being clean, and having people re-follow will make me feel a little more confident. At this point, I’m just not sure what’s keeping me away from Tumblr... So I’m just trying anything I can think of that’ll help me want to be here again.

Truly an amazing person, with an amazing muse that they write absolutely perfectly. I couldn’t think of anyone else that can play Komaeda so canon but also so prominently their own. They deserve all the praise and love coming their way, because they’re a talented and kind individual.

“Deary me, have I offended you with my words..? I do sincerely apologize, my only intention had been to speak the truth. Something I’d suppose you clearly aren’t ready for, Naegi-kun.” Rowling this boy up was hard, and really, his ‘anger’ didn’t match anything she’d wanted.
She wanted a big show, shouting, yelling, or even crying if she dug her nails deep enough. But this boy… He’d only show he annoyance of the situation, but nothing close to anger. Celeste wanted to see his unbridled rage, only then would she be satisfied.
After all, the most intimate of relationships were build on the basis of knowing every side of the other. That was something that she’d leave one-sided, allowing him to make a fool of himself as she watched. With the information she would gather from the idle egging could give her the advantage.
“I think it would behoove you to remember where we are, and what situation we are in, Naegi-kun. We cannot withhold the same morals and rules that we once had in our regular society. Survival is adaption, and some of us here are a little too thick-headed to understand that. You being one of those few, Naegi-kun.”
She had rewarded him for his time today… By giving him a vital piece of advice that she hoped he’d take to heart. It would be so much more fun to watch him struggle if he did.

Try: Some despair for once, in other words. Lady Junko.
“Upupupu~ Do my ears deceive me, Shiro-kun? That almost sounded like you were desperate to see little ole’ me!” She let out a dark giggle, one that told of infinite despair. But only ones that were intimately close to her, like her few friends, and her special pawn sitting across from her now could tell.
She’d been his savior, someone who saved him from a hopeless situation. That didn’t really sound like Junko, sure, but she was thinking bigger. Within moments she could feel the rage, hate, and most importantly… Despair that radiated off him. A despair strong enough to weaponize and use to her advantage.
After all, the more pawns on her board, the more able she’d be to take over the world. Or maybe she’d feel the despair of working so hard only for it to be destroyed by her beloved classmate Naegi. That was the beauty of this… The inability to foresee the future.
“I came as soon as I heard your call, Shiro-kun! It makes my heart flutter just thinking that you wanted me in your sight that badly.” Idle teasing… Everyone was boring to her because she could predict everything they’d do. Only a few broke this, and so far they were either dead or sleeping. So she had to make due with Shiro’s disposition to just about anything she did.
“Or I’m sure that’s what you wanted to hear! I actually came here to see how the Kiddies are doing. So- Have they been sleeping good, eating well, and getting some good physical exercise?” She threw about questions that she generally cared nothing about. She knew that Shiro would give her the answer she wanted to hear regardless of her telling him directly.
Had anyone killed?!

“Ghhh- W-Why are you l-looking at me like t-that?!” She’d spotted the girl out of the corner of her eye. Komaru Naegi, the little sister of Makoto Naegi, who’d she’d escaped a killing game with. She was almost like a carbon copy of him, and of naive view made her unconsciously want to protect her.
But it was times like these when Toko wasn’t sure if Komaru was playing the airhead, or stringing her along. That mischievous look in her eyes told a story of something that made Toko shiver. She’d seen it many takes when Komaru was waiting to pull a prank. A prank that she knew she would not be fond of, not even in the slightest.
“Y-You better not be t-thinking of getting m-me to take a bath! I-I already told you that I-I don’t need one f-for another month.”
