forgot to post this on Easter or Good Friday but everyone should see the Alexamenos graffiti from Rome

it is competing with this gem for the earliest depiction of the Crucifixion of Jesus. and its got him as a donkey because it is understood to be mocking Alexamenos for "worshipping his god" The graffiti dates from between the 1st and 3rd century CE. The gem dates from the 2nd-3rd cen CE. Both are hard to date conclusively so we'll probably never know which is older.
