Apparently the local squirrels can read.

Went down to the lake today to get away from cars and traffic. Unfortunately, now my hip hurts, so I may not be doing that too often.

Fans of Gordon Ramsay might recognise this one. It’s still here, and it’s still crap.

Once again, not the photo I originally intended to post, but it’s so much better than the one I spent ages standing in the rain trying to get just right.

For a brief moment on my walk today, the clouds looked really nice.

We don’t have Big 5 or Dick’s out here. We got Bob’s. And frankly, Bob’s got a lot, but he never seems to have anything I’m specifically looking for.

I spent ages trying to line up another shot, getting it just right for this whilst standing out in the rain. Ten minutes later I walked past whatever the hell this is and instantly changed my mind about today’s upload.

Found a funky stone sitting on a crosswalk signal whilst out on my walk today.

Nearly forgot to post today. There’s always a giant pile of bicycles behind this building, and I have no idea why. They never seem to be locked up, and near as I can tell, nobody really seems to mess with them.

Actually managed to go out for a bit today. Didn’t enjoy it much, so I just stayed out long enough to close the exercise ring on my watch.

This is not the most exciting photo I took today, but it is the photo I took with the intent of posting here today.

Even number streets don’t have storefronts on one side. It’s all this sort of thing for a long stretch, so the main drag, which would be 13th (except it’s called Commerce to avoid being called 13th) can have its fancy facades on both sides.

Went downtown today, and by downtown I mean two blocks away. Yes, this town does exist in the 1950s, thank you for asking.

Took a wander to a part of town I’ve not been before and wound up in an alley with some funky fences.

Weird little alley that doesn’t seem to go anywhere. It was dark and rainy today, which I didn’t mind. I would have stayed out longer than I did but someone ran a red light and almost ran me over, which annoyed me so I came home.
