heyy quick question what got you into Prideshipping and is it canon ?

Hey! I immediately fell for Yami Yuugi, when I watched the first run of Yugioh on German TV, back at around 2003. A while later, I found some artists who made beautiful Prideshipping art. Back then it was really uncommon - most people shipped Puzzle or Puppy. Doujinshi artist Rapan fed us well tho. Fast forward to 2015 I fell back into ygo fandom, just in time to experince the DSOD hype. That movie made our wildest dreams come true: Kaiba was always crazy for Atrm, but that movie took it to the next level. They really fed us well, and it finally felt like the relationship between Kaiba and Atem was validated.

Is Prideshipping canon? Well, not in the shipping sense. Did they make a movie about how much these two idiots mean to each other? Hell yes.

Tldr: Kaiba and Atem are both really cool, thats why I like them, and why they like each other

#2. Episode 175 - a pinch of cuteness won't hurt you

The second duel between Atem and Rafael is one of my favorite duels that have ever aired. I have so many things to say and have more pieces to draw about their exchange of dialogue. I'll get back to this story later.

This duel takes place between two of the most serious characters in the series. Absolutely no joking around-- except for a moment of cuteness overloading when Kuriboh Brothers cheerfully bounce around in the Seal of Orichalcos...😂😂 This scene gives a breather for the audience with a grin on their lips appreciating the cute furballs. I love it when renouned Yugioh animation directors, including Kenichi Hara who was responsible for this episode, add pleasant jokes like this at their discretion :))

no context but I think Atem just punched someone or wants to punch someone...I was just doodling and ended like that.

clothes are for Atem is the hologram clothes from dsod, but without the jacket, plus earrings and instead of the normal choker is just a gold band, and the millennium puzzle with a cord, he is wearing a wedding ring.

for Kaiba is his white coat, he still use the card pendant, also is wearing a wedding ring.

background, the trees' flowers were made with a sakura patterned brush, they're on green grass, shadow is soft and have some openings for the light but the drawings don't have that specific shadows. END ID]

Even the stars wrote out their fate.

A simple drawing because i drew the background first and I wanted to try to make it as water but then I’m like no make it stars and then this came out 🤣🤣🤣. Technically it isn’t a romantic post but it’s still scandalshipping for me.

There was a discussion on the Dark Pride of Dimensions discord (an 18+ prideshipping server) about what a Yu-Gi-Oh! beach episode could look like. Here's my vague thoughts in a prideshipping flavored beach episode:

Kaiba and Atem sneak off.  Everyone assumes they’re having sex, but they’re actually dueling.

Kaiba and Anzu are the volleyball sharks.  No one wants to take them 2 on 2, but no one wants to play opposite one of them either.

Hard agree with Jounouchi burying Honda while asleep (Atem is not sure how he feels about Honda being buried in sand) and Yugi building elaborate sand castles.

Bakura spends most of his time trying to stay out of the sun without being rude.  Kaiba spends most of his time surfing away from the others (although checking to make sure Atem is watching) without caring if he’s being rude.

Atem likes the beach but compares it unfavorably with the Nile.  No reeds!  No fishing!  On the plus side, there’s no hippos.

Drew this to celebrate P3R's release and my DHB themed stream, but it's already been out for a few weeks and I haven't gotten to it!

What if the cast of YuGiOh were Gekkoukan students and Ryou Bakura was in SEES? That was the basic AU idea.

I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet, so I might as well.

They've updated their content policy to comply with payment processor Stripe and Paypal's censorhip. They gave 24 hours. On March 16th 2024, Gumroad TOS will no longer allows sales of any written or drawn nsfw content.

This is going to hurt for so many creators. Giving that little time leaves people's source of income wildly unstable, especially with such a huge overhaul of what content is allowed.

I hate this. I hate what censorship is turning the internet into. I hate that nsfw content creators keeo getting pushed to the fringes, that they need to digitally migrate so often, because nowhere can be trusted to allow their art for long.

I don't know what to do next, there isn't some sort of "here's what you can do to help!" People just deserve to know.
