In the 1940s Jordan has released a dozen of hit songs such as Saturday Night Fish Fry, Blue Light Boogie, Ain’t nobody here but us chickens, Buzz me, and one of his biggest hits was Caldonia. Louis Jordan was also known as the “ King of the Jukebox” because himself  and his group Tympany Five dominated the 1940s R&B charts for the “ race charts” back then. Jordan became more popular after he had a hit with  Decca records, which was a good thing because it helped to make him as popular with whites as with blacks.
