His response made her feel terrible at first, but he was right. It wouldn’t be fair of Chizue to not reciprocate. “Sorry,” she apologized, pushing up her glasses that were beginning to slide off her nose.
“To be honest, I’m not really that picky,” she answered. Although the mention of a buffet caught her attention. “You know what, that actually sounds like something I’m willing to try,” she added. Over the course of the conversation, Chizue found herself becoming more comfortable; no direct eye contact, but she was talking.
“What kind of food is there?”
Des would smile at her giving a big grin. At her answer-but the next statement came in at "What place you wanna go too? you gotta meet me halfway and talk to me here." Des would ask her, straight up, she can't expect him to do all the talking, that make a pretty one sided thread.
Des would look into the bounds of the forth wall before taking a few steps forward, the duffle bag swaying behind him. "You pick unless you wanna go to the ritzy buffet~" Des teased, he knew HE could eat all that food easily, but her? Could she survive the fact that he'd become a Hawaiian grandmother and fill her plate?

Decided to make a carrd. This probably won't be ready for another few days, and I do want to get to replies on here (as well as on my other rp blog of Marinette) before actually making this new blog.
I also plan to update the fanfic more. Been trying a method where I just have the chapter doc open all day and write down sentences when they come to me. It's definitely helping!

Chizue’s knees were up to her chest as she tried not to hyperventilate. It was as if she was fully paralyzed, frozen in her spot, tense muscles keeping her still. How long was she sitting there? Only a few minutes, maybe an hour? Chizue can’t even tell anymore. In her mind, she was too frightened to gaze back up, refusing to see the environment again. But she needs to. Or else she may never escape.
After a shaky deep breath, Chizue felt around on the floor for her phone and earbuds. As she quickly opened her contacts, she draped the earbuds on her neck for safe-keeping. Yeah, she’ll call her mother, she must be at home-
No signal. The last thing she wanted to see.
“Why?” Chizue mumbled in defeat. Alone in another world - with zero idea on how dangerous it was since no shadows approached her yet - and she was about to have a full-blown panic attack. She was trapped-
Her heart leapt in her chest when she heard the other’s voice, calling out her name. Currently she can’t place who it belongs to; whoever they were, they didn’t sound like a threat.
“Hello!?” Chizue yelled back. That may have been her biggest mistake yet. Her voice caught the attention of a nearby shadow, making its presence known in front of Chizue. The sight caused her to scream at the top of her lungs - loud enough for all of Mementos to hear.
Reality was a surprisingly fragile thing. Sure, they'd had Gods tamper with its fabric, merging two realms that should've remained separate, but all that would've been fine... were it not for one measley spider bite.
Because despite what his friends would say, he knew that had to be the cause of all this. Were it not for that bite, he'd not be so attuned to the Metaverse, and the realms would've separated as they were supposed to. But because of it, and probably something else he wasn't aware of, they were still overlapping, and innocent people were slipping through the cracks.
Which... is just a long winded way of saying that this was all his fault.
These tears into the Metaverse had been popping up all over the place, and anyone without a Persona can't even see the dang things, meaning that he'd had to deal with countless cases like this one. And considering he felt largely responsible for this whole mess, he was pushing himself to limit. Today alone he'd taken down four large groups of shadows causing a panic, and had made three separate trips into Mementos to get people out.
And school had only been out for an hour.
"Another disappearance case-" chimed in Oracle over their coms. "Thankfully just one this time. Highschool girl disappeared on the subway line to Yongen. Toyama Chizue."
His brow furrowed under his mask. That name sounded somewhat familiar.
"Toyama..." Queen repeated, somewhat lost in thought. "She's a first year at our school."
That explained it. He must've read her name in the student council room while they were trying to look into "The Beauty Thief."
"I'm not too far from there." Skull responded. "Just let me finish up with these Shadows at the Theater, and-"
"No need." The Spider interjected, leaping from the rooftop he was on and firing a webline to swing off down the street. "I'll handle it."
"Spider-"
"Dude, you just got back from there!"
"You can't keep going like this! You've been running yourself ragged all week!"
He didn't respond at first, too focused on the task at hand. Not to say he was ignoring them, he knew they were right but... Regardless of what they might believe, this was his mess. He had to clean it up.
Still... he didn't want them to worry too much.
"This is the last one for today. I'll rest up after."
"... You'd better."

It'd taken him a few minutes to get down to the subway line, swinging down the tunnels until he saw what he was looking for, an ominous red crack floating in the air above the tracks.
"There you are-"
He dropped down in front of the thing, before quickly slipping inside.
'Better close this thing behind me.' He thought to himself, summoning Arséne for a deed that had become almost routine. 'Who knows how many could slip through when the next train passes by.'
Still, that would make leaving a bit more complicated. But he'd cross that bridge when he came to it.
He looked around the area, using his third eye to look for any sign of the girl. The odd thing about a cognitive world was that fundamental rules like space and the passage of time were all screwy, especially down in the tunnels of Mementos. Even though she'd come through this same crack not too long ago, who knew where it had spit her out, or how long she'd actually been here.
"Hello??" He called out. "Toyama-chan!? I'm here to get you out!"
He knew it was risky, as he was likely to draw the attention of more than just her yelling like this. But the faster he could locate her, the better.

I changed up Chizue’s MMD model!
The hair and skirt physics weren’t cooperating, which led to me hunting down a new hair and skirt for her. I also removed the jacket and gave her some kind of undershirt, as well as some black shorts underneath her skirt. Her necklace is even smaller (hidden by her hands lol).
The skirt is so floaty, I love it!

Got back into Sly Cooper and so I re-downloaded the bundled trilogy that I bought way back in like 2018. I would play the original ps2 version but my sister has it at her place :(

At first, Chizue wanted to deny. It’d be an unfamiliar place, and she wasn’t sure if she’d be able to comfortably stim without judgement. Yet she went out of her way to approach him. It’d be rude to not let him repay her.
Plus, she can’t say no to some food.
“I guess that’s fine,” she replied. The rain won’t let up for another few hours, anyway, and she’s not expected to be home right away. She idly played with the heart charm on her necklace; that will have to do for sensory-seeking.
Des cocked his head, he'd curl his tail in curiosity if he wanted to accidently expose himself. He'd have to make himself scarce however since he wanted to stretch his tail.
Desmond would lean on the opposite foot to give her a bit of space and get a better view of her. "Well since you're so insistent, you should let me pay you back, my place is close by and I'm hungry anyway so you can join me for a meal." It was the perfect plan, Des had a kotatsu they could warm up under and he could hide his tail with.
He got good hiding it around others, except the other thieves or course, and Sojiro their father like confidant.
