Judai ran his fingers through his hair and idly thumbed the flap on his deck box with his free hand. It was windy, but the evening chill had yet to set in for the night. The view on the beach below his dorms was beautiful, but his thoughts distracted him from appreciating it.
The sound of footsteps crunching into sand made him alert, but he was too lazy to sit up and knowledge them properly. “Yeah, I know. I’ll be inside in a sec.”
