Yo, official ref for Boom! She’s my L4D oc and lowkey rebel spirit animal. 

Once a struggling artist, she’s now become a struggling survivor on her own. At first it wasn’t just her. She had her father and her boyfriend Adam. Adam got mauled to death, though, and her dad fell gravely ill. Eventually he turned and she was forced to put him down before striking out on her own. If she had any chance at survival, it would be away from that place. Her spirit was pretty much crushed however, and with nothing to live for aside from the sake of living, she wanted to die.

 It was pure luck that the liquor store was more or less unscathed and well stocked. The iron bars on the windows and doors keep all manner of zombie and human out, and with the roof access, she has a great place to crack a (lukewarm) one while blasting AC/DC and mowing down the infected. It’s a good, fleeting life of freedom.

Bill: There’s nothing worse than people using big words they don’t understand just to seem smart.

Francis- *pretending to be a cop* You have the right to remain silent!

Ellis- I do, but I don’t have the ability to.

Look ok I got a few headcanons for the l4d2 survivors but I will always believe that Ellis stayed behind to get all his friends to evac and that’s why he wasn’t on a rescue chopper. And I don’t mean just friends at that time like Keith and Dave I mean every single friend he had in his life.

Every highschool pal who claimed the title of a Bullshifter at any point in time? Get in the truck man! 6th grade girlfriend he only dated for like a month? Hop on! Friend who was shy and anxious but hung out with him and his friends and essentially became his honorary sibling? You get to ride shotgun! Bring ya dog to!

He essentially helped half the young adult populous of his hometown at the cost of his own escape, and I don’t think he regrets it a bit.
