i really think homestuck should have utilized the fact that hal and dirk message from the same account much more than it did
imagine dirk trying to have a conversation with one of his friends only for more orange text to pop up like “Bitch ass monkey beans” and the recipient of the message is like. what the fuck dirk. and then he’s like it’s not me it’s the AR and then he starts arguing with hal and it’s just back and forth orange text arguing with itself and whoever he’s messaging is trying to decipher who the hell is saying what
even funnier if it’s earlier in the timeline when hal was just recently created and no one is familiar with him or his mannerisms so dirk and hal are just spewing shit in the same chat and they think he’s just insulting himself
