More of my Skyrim OC Elexan. I was originally just wanting to practice expressions and then it became a lore exploration for their character lol.

My most recent Skyrim OC Elexan! They’re a Dunmer mage with a knack for fire spells and enchanting. I’m still fleshing out their backstory/lore but I do have a bit of it already — After initially finding out they were Dragonborn, they kinda said “no thanks peace out” and went into semi hiding. During this, they accidentally stumble upon Serana while exploring Dimhollow Crypt, thus kicking off the Dawnguard plot line. This is mainly because in my story, Elexan and Durnehviir become besties and Durnehviir essentially teaches them the basics of being the Dragonborn and the use of the Thu’um instead of the Greybeards.

Eventually, Elexan is forced to accept their destiny as Dragonborn and goes to defeat Alduin. Everything plot wise there is the same until they are forced to read the Elder Scroll at the Throat of the World. Since they’ve already had to read one Elder Scroll (Blood), I figure the risks of reading another would be incredibly high — and so when they come out of the vision of the past, Elexan finds that they’ve essentially been blinded. The words and symbols of the Elder Scroll have been permanently seared into their eyes. Their field of vision is basically what you see on screen when you read an Elder Scroll in any location other than where and when you’re supposed to — the sigil follows where you look, blocking a majority of what you can see, and your peripheral vision is there but extremely blurry.

Theyre distraught at what’s happened to them, but also too stubborn and too pissed off at the world to let this new disability keep them from living their life (and wanting to finish the prophecy out of spite at this point). With the help of Serana and some other connections, they are able to enchant a mask to allow them to see the auras of creatures around them, like a permanent Aura Whisper. They also now wear a few rings and piercings that help enhance their other remaining senses.

That’s most of what I have for now, minus some random stuff, and I somehow want to include Miraak in there somewhere cause I want him and El to be besties too somehow haha. I’ll get there tho lol

After finishing my like… second reread of the amazing fic GOLHAHDOV by the amazing @99corentine since it wrapped up earlier this month, I needed do doodle something to get me out of the artist slump, so lo and behold, everyone’s favorite golden boi. Everyone go read this fic, it’s been a looooooong time since ones kept my attention so long, and even longer since I’ve been genuinely upset when it ended 😂😂

I was in the mood to do some costume design, so here is a line up for Teldryn Sero and my dragonborn Elaris :)

I'm always frustrated that every clothing mod on the Nexus is only for women characters (and let's say not to my tastes)- so I had a lot of fun with these :DD

Notes on my design choices for the two characters below vvv

For Teldryn :

He's a warrior, and he doesn't strike me as a man very interested in fashion, so I kept his clothes practical and not too tight as to not restrict his movements.

He is from Morrowind, and proud of it (one of his only dialogue is him talking about his hometown Blacklight and how beautiful it is), so I tried to incorporate this in his outfit choices. The most obvious one, outside of the canon chitin armor, is the fancy clothes. For them I gave him a slightly altered dunmer outfit you can find in Solstheim. But nothing too ornate or ridiculous, since he's from a pretty modest background (as far as I can tell)

And I think the sleepwear do not need explaining golglflffkfk

For his body type I went for the classic muscular and covered in scars build, nothing much to say. I did give him an ass tho, because I think he deserves it <3

For Elaris :

My dragonborn is a mage Altmer. He puts a lot of efforts in how he looks, and he is a bougie bitch thanks to his new Arc-mage job. Mostly a conjurer, he doesn't need to fight himself. So the outfits are dramatic, impractical and richely decorated. No need for comfortable when your main activities are prancing around a school campus, doing paperwork or summoning big muscly demons to do your bidding.

So I get to dress him in long robes, heels and too much jewelry <3

As for the sleepwear, it's comfy and not very sexy. It's the end of his cunty hours, he gets to relax in a slightly ridiculous 17th century inspired sleepwear (I think it's the right period, but don't quote me on that I'm not an expert)

For the body type, he is tall, not very muscular with a bit of chub. He lives in a cold country and has the closest thing to an office job, he deserves to put on a little bit of meat <3

He was still wearing that cocky, lopsided smirk. “The trapdoor that you use to ambush reavers when you’re bored?” Sydari winked back at him, “Yes Teldryn, I know the one.”  Teldryn rolled his eyes, “Yes… that one,” he sighed, slumping himself over the table, “Geldis said that he was trying to excavate the place. That the guy was looking for someone to help him out.” Sydari laughed at that. Was he really so bored that he’d suggest digging in the ash for a barrow full of junk? In the state he was in. Surely not? “Sero, I wouldn’t have thought you one for that kind of manual labour?” Sydari snickered as she sipped her drink, “Why the sudden change of heart?” Teldryn laughed at her comment and shook his head, dark hair falling across his face. He attempted to brush it back with his fingers, “Yeah, me, with a shovel digging in the ash like some common…No, no, the guy’s looking for people to invest.” Sydari furrowed her brow, and considered her friend’s words for a moment, “Invest? I don’t see how this could help expand my holdings here Teldryn?” Teldryn shook his head again, “No, no, Lukal, I’m not phrasing this right ah…” He chewed his lip for a moment, “If we offer to help. Say we divide some drakes between us? We get a cut of everything that comes out of that tomb. Right? Everything he sells?” “That’s usually how investing works,” Sydari mused, returning to her food. She knew where he was going with this. Ham-fisted as his explanation was. “Say a few nicer items don’t find their way back to Mournhold,” Teldryn smirked, leaning towards her, “What if some of them just-“

just over a year ago, @saturdaysky commissioned me with an absolutely outstanding shadowgast prompt; namely, 'Caleb helping Essek put on a fancy outfit'. i'm sure you can imagine how ecstatic i was about it (just look at that line, every single word in it is designed to make me go heart eyes), and i'm finally finished and excited to post this bad boy. i hope you guys enjoy this picture too and my very optimistic wish is that it inspires all sorts of lovely stories in your minds 😏

sky gave me a beautiful prompt and a specific atmosphere/mood to depict, but was very patient and generous about letting me go wild on the actual posing, colors and details, so naturally i did 😂 my idea of using a mirror in the composition was admittedly rather ambitious, and lead me to reading up quite a bit on optics, the physics of reflections and reflections in art specifically (as well as the history of zippers and other closures!), so not only was this commission a delight from the point of view of its topic, but i also learned a fair amount of new stuff while working on it. honestly speaking, i like to think that the bookworm wizards would approve of my little adventure.
