Bombardier has anew designed a wing for Global 7000 for the sake of weight reduction.
The Canadian aircraft manufacturer of Bombardier has decided to redesign new long-distance business Jett Global 7000's wing to lose aircraft weight. Expensive redesign has been started in 2015 and has almost not demanded modification of an aerodynamic profile, reports the FlightGlobal edition. For today design of a wing is almost complete.
In parallel with repeated design of Bombardier carries out tests of the first prototype on which have established a wing of the basic version. The plane was lifted in air in November of last year. According to the latest data, he flew 100 h. The second car which will be already equipped with easier wing will join certified flights in the II quarter 2017, presumably — in April.
Modification of a design became one of the reasons of a delay of input of business Jett in operation. It was initially planned that the plane will come to the market in 2016, however then date was postponed on the second half of 2018. Earlier main reason of a delay of certification of the car was called need to concentrate on the program of the narrow-body Bombardier CSeries planes.
Start of the Global 7000 program was announced in October, 2010. The plane with the new wing created from scratch has to compete with business Jett Gulfstream 650ER. Final assembly of Global 7000 will be made in the center located in Montreal and intended for Global family VS. As it was reported earlier, Bombardier hopes that a conclusion to the Global 7000 market will help it to increase revenue.

Flight tests of business Jett Gulfstream G600 have begun
Gulfstream Aerospace has ahead of schedule started the program of flight tests of business Jett G600. The first flight which has lasted 2 h 53 min. has made a prototype on December 17, the producer has reported. Two more prototypes will join air tests at the beginning of the next year. Before it they will be equipped with the control equipment.
The G600 program has been started in 2014. First private jets for sale will be in 2017 year. The plane represents the increased version of the G550 model. The car has the extended wing with a supercritical profile with the improved aerodynamics inherited from G650. As the power plant Pratt & Whitney Canada PW815GA engines are chosen.
The car, according to the producer, has the longest passenger salon in the class and differs in especially large panoramic windows. Flying range of the aircraft makes 11482 km at a speed of 0,85M and 8890 km at a speed of 0,90M. The maximum cruiser speed, as well as at a leader of G650ER, makes 0,925M.
It is expected that deliveries business джетов will begin G600 in 2018. It was initially supposed that cars will begin to transfer in the 2019th. The cost of the aircraft will make 54,5 million dollars of G600 will become one of the first civilian airliners equipped with active side handles of management.
In parallel Gulfstream Aerospace works also on other program — G500. The plane is designed on the basis of the existing G450 model. As well as G600, the G500 plane is equipped with active side handles of management. This program goes ahead of schedule too. It is expected that deliveries of the car which cost will make 43,5 million dollars will begin until the end of 2017.

Gulfstream Aerospace has reduced the supply, but increased orders.
Deliveries of business aircraft manufacturer Gulfstream Aerospace (part of the holding of General Dynamics) in 2016 was reduced by a quarter compared with the previous year, amounting to 115 sides, according to Aviation Week. However, the number of orders the company grew, especially in the second half of the year. Specific numbers edition does not.
