Some leaves look weird but that's the point..just go beyond your imagination! It's art. It's not suppose to be perfect. It's suppose to be therapeutic, calming, relaxing, and fun. It's all about the fun and the progress. At least, that's how i feel 🤓 sorryI had to speed up the vid cos it took me over 1 minute to paint 1 type of leave. Soooo, the rest is history 😆😂🤣

Process video! Simple flower tutorial.

Hi! As promised, this is the step-by-step tutorial for this painting. . 1. First, get a suitable paper. This is 100% cotton cold pressed 300gsm paper. . 2. Round brushes size 8 and 6. . 3. Schmincke watercolor from @overjoyedxyz - Carmine, Cadmium red tone, Indian yellow, Ultramarine+Carmine to get purple color, Permanent green, Yellow Ochre, English Red and Sepia. . 4. Start by painting the branches and stems by mixing English red and Sepia. . 5. And then, paint the leaves. For the layers I used mixtures of Permanent Green, Yellow Ochre, Ultramarine and Sepia. . 6. And then fill in the flowers in about 3-4 petals. Colors used are Carmine, Cadmium Red Tone, Indian Yellow and Ultramarine+Carmine. . Voila! 🎈I hope you'll give it a try.
