Kind of hilarious to me how poorly the title "Mob Psycho 100" localized to English-speaking areas. To someone whose first language is English, it scans as:

Mob (Yakuza, Mafia)

Psycho (violent person with "crazy" behaviors)

Thus: a particularly violent member of organized crime.

But in Japanese it scans as:

Mob (background characters in crowd scenes in manga or anime)

Psycho (short for psychic)

Thus: a psychic who looks/acts like someone you'd never pick out of a crowd scene in a comic.

like i really don't care too much if someone is fudging their rolls if it only affects them (i do think you're really missing out though, failure is really interesting and gives you more to work with when rounding your character out) and like sometimes you just really really want to succeed in a specific moment (or have a moment when failing feels like it would just make for a way worse story). but i think what really rubs me the wrong way is when people fudge rolls against fellow players (social rolls, for example) or fudge rolls in situations that fellow players are very invested in. at best it takes all the tension out of something other folks cared about seeing play out, and at worse you are cheating at what someone else thinks is a fair contest in order to force your preferred outcome through, which sucks to do.
