I'm getting better, so that's something and I'll be back in a few days (I hope), but I've been thinking a lot in the meantime, so have some rambling words utc bc I read GGY again lol.
I just feel like Ellis is such a tragic character, in a way. We know that Gregory is being mind-controlled into being GGY/Dr Rabbit and that Tony is probably killed by Gregory IF he accepted his offer of going to the PizzaPlex, and then there's just Ellis.
Tony had mentioned before that he didn't really want to be friends with Ellis anymore, and like. Surely Ellis must have noticed the signs of Tony growing distant with him and closer to Gregory. That must have been terrible, to have such a close friend slowly moving away from him because of a new kid they hadn't known for very long. Plus the fact that Gregory still acted normal around Ellis, but it's just so obvious that Greg has something to hide.
And the last time Ellis sees Tony before Tony possibly goes to the PizzaPlex and gets killed? Him and Tony argue over the story that Tony wrote and Ellis and Gregory 'ruined'. (Not gonna lie, the idea of a wizard was pretty clever) Imagine the guilt that Ellis goes through if Tony's body is discovered and Ellis realises that he never got to apologise for screwing up the story or not being good enough or whatever he thought Tony wanted to hear.
Just saying, if Gregory called Ellis and asked if he wanted to investigate the PizzaPlex and find out how Tony died, he'd agree in a second. I mean, he'd try to figure it out himself anyway, and to have an extra set of hands would be helpful to him. Especially since Gregory has some people that he'd love Ellis to meet who could help
